My iPad: Covers Ios 7 for Ipad Air, 3rd/4th Generation, Ipad 2 and Ipad Mini

This book was very clear about how to use all aspects of my new iPad. There are pictures of most screens, so you can really see what to do. I felt like I learned a lot of things I didn't know, even though I have been using an iPad for a long time. Well worth buying!

I recently bought an iPad Air. Although I can navigate the basics of the iPad, there are lots of things I didn't know how to do or things I didn't know about at all. For instance: I have a case with a keyboard. I couldn't figure out how to make the keyboard work. (Yes, I'm learning) A quick look in this book and I knew how to set up Bluetooth and use keyboard in seconds. This is a great book filled with information in a clear concise manner.

I like my I Pad book because I can learn as I read, I am 80 and forget easilys and with the book I find my info easily I have taken certain parts and worked on I Pad along with reading what to do The book explains very well what to do in easy language.

Everything you ever wanted to know about your ipad is in this book. Well written with lots of diagrams. A must have for anyone who uses their tablet a lot. Our home has two ipads IV and an Acer Iconia A500 all of them are super great tablets. No regrets in buying any of them or this wonderful book.

Coming from an android tablet didn't want the little learning curve associated with a new device so purchased this book and it was a good reference in helping me get the most from my iPad I still use and prefer my android tablet but apple is nice also. This is a Great book for me everybody has different expectations when they buy how to books but it fits the bill for me.

This being my first Apple product (other than an iPod Shuffle), I needed something to give me a broad overview of the product and this book fit the bill. It's well laid-out and discusses the capabilities of the iPad in enough detail to give me a good start on using the device. I could have used a chapter on how to get the iPad to play well with the Windows world as well as some details on rebooting or recovering from crashes. All in all, it was worth the money for me.

Love my new IPAd, was a cinch to transfer all my I phone data when setting up. I love Apple products, use at work and home. This was my first IPAD, very happy! Later bought a keyboard case to go with it for a reasonable price, but was not an Apple keyboard, too expensive!! Mine works fine.

This is the definitive guide to the Apple iPad series of tablets although I note that Amazon misses out that it also covers the iPad Air. As owners of the iPad 4 and iPad Air my wife and I found the manual clear, concise and very easy to follow. Worth every penny.

I bought a book by Gary Rozenzweig when I was first given my iPad (which was a godsend because I had always used the Windows system!) and felt I needed an update when I downloaded iOS7. He explains things so well.

This book is very basic and probably most appropriate for someone who is not familiar with apple technology at all. This is my first ipad, but I still found this book too simplistic despite my limited technical knowledge.

Covered all the main features and was easy to follow. Good illustrations. Did not show how to transfer pictures and back up to & from PC to ipad. Pity! While the new IOS has different features, someone with previous ipad experience might be disappointed. Nevertheless for me it was a good buy as this was my 1st ipad.
