Some modifications may be required for piece of mind
Ok let’s start by saying this is a well constructed gen tent. Easy to use and assembly. The top opening allows for easy fueling. The side panel is large enough to easily start your gen. It rained on me all weekend and gen was dry and operated flawlessly! That said! Make sure your gens exhaust port is at least mid way up the back of your gen. My exhaust is located maybe an inch and a half up from the bottom edge of the gen. So I had to do a hasty field mod and cut the tent bottom away to ensure that no fire happened. But it’s all good unit still stayed dry and functioning fine.

OUTSTANDING cover for a Ryobi 2300 generator
I live in an apartment in New Orleans. After losing power for four days last summer because of Hurricane Zeta, I vowed to be prepared for a power outage for the 2021 hurricane season. I put a lot of thought into my generator set up. I chose the Ryobi 2300 inverter generator for several reasons, including, its size, fuel capacity, quietness, but above all, its Bluetooth remote electric start and app. The generator was my gateway into the Ryobi ecosystem of their batteries, chargers, tools (including lights, fans, and inverters -- all crucial during prolonged power outages). I'm disabled with limited mobility and hand strength. The 4' Gorilla Cart holds my generator, chains, locks, and extension cords. The cart makes setting up a breeze since all I need to do is roll the cart down the ramp out of my apartment, lock the generator and cart to the post, then roll the cords into my apartment. A crucial piece of my generator set up is the cover. I needed a cover that fit my generator, allowed it to be controlled via Bluetooth, and gave excellent access to the front panel, manual electric start button and pull handle, and the gas cap on the top. The IGAN Small Inverter Generator Tent Cover does all of these things superbly! Look at the photos. I took them after Hurricane Ida knocked out the power to the entire New Orleans area. My neighborhood was luckier then most. We only lost power for 5 days and nights. For most of that time, I ran the generator with the cover on. The cover was super easy to set up. It came with a bag of stakes and paracord lines for securing the cover to the ground. I bought a pack of bungee cords. The grommets in the generator cover are heavy duty, as is the waterproof material out of which the cover is made. Another useful thing about my cart is it makes it super easy to secure the cover with four bungee cords. It stayed in place during the post-Ida storms. The last image of my set up was taken during one such storm at night refueling. The pump is another Amazon purchase I recommend enthusiastically. The last image I uploaded is a graphic from the Amazon product page for the IGAN Small Inverter Generator Tent Cover. The graphic states that the cover does not work with the Ryobi 2300 generator. The graphic is wrong. As my pictures of the cover in use clearly show, this cover will most certainly work with the Ryobi 2300 generator. The only "problem" I have encountered with the cover is that I cannot swap out the starter battery (on the front) while the cover is on. The reason for this is because the battery cover is blocked by the bottom of the cover on the front. This is not really a problem since all I need to do is unhook the two bungee cords on the front and lift the front of the tent up, swap out the battery, then lower the tent and resecure it. This is an outstanding generator cover for a Ryobi 2300 generator. My specific model is the RYOBI RYI2322E. The dimensions are L25.1 x W13.3 x H18.4 in. If your generator is built like mine and has similar dimensions or smaller, this cover will probably work even if the graphic says otherwise.

Fits Ecoflow Dual Fuel
Got this for my Ecoflow Dual Fuel generator. The cover itself is of high quality and has nice features within it. Assembly is very easy and it breaks down to reasonable sized pieces. There's a flap on the side that I can route the propane inlet easily, the front has a window to see the screen of my generator and have the cable come out from. Overall really nice. The one thing I'm not a fan of: the hood that overhangs the exhaust outlet is relatively stiff - as it should be. However, this makes stowing this in the supplied storage bag really difficult. I spend more time trying to wedge the cover into the bag than I do actually setting it up. Cover is great, supplied bag is too undersized. 20% wider storage bag and it'd be perfect.

Protects well
Bought this a few weeks back. Hadn't had to use it until this past week. Power went out due to high winds, it worked well and protected my generator as it said it would. I would have given it a 5 star review except, packing it back up isn't good after using it. The storage bag is too small for the cover and doesn't fit back in the bag, eventually the zipper will fail, or rip. I'll be looking at purchasing a large dry bag to store it in....

Well designed, well built , perfect for y Honda generator
After using ply wood tents and various tarps, I finally found exactly what I needed, this IGAN generator cover. This cover is well designed and well built of quality parts. Very easy and simple instructions with big photos. Took maybe 5 minutes to assemble. The tent has many access points for easy access to the generator, closed either by velcro or buckles. There is a generous exhaust opening as well. This is a perfect fit for my Honda EU2000i generator and will be great in nasty conditions and I will know the generator is safe and dry. I will place it under deck steps to protect from wind and rain. A lot of people mention the price..I think it's fair as it's well built and solves a big problem for me. Great product!

Heavy Duty Material
When I ordered this I was doubtful that it was worth the money. I was pleasantly suprised at the quality of the product. The cross bars of the lower frame are metal pipe that are joined together at the corners by heavy PVC that also had legs. The cover feels pretty thick and durable with access on the side to get to the pull cord, access and a clear front panel that buckles in place and access on the top to refil with fuel. The extra height of the cover did make it slightly more difficult to refil with gasoline. It was easy to assemble and dissassemble and protected my generator from the rain and ice. I don't expect the storage bag to live long as it is fairly flimsy.

Good Product
My wife said we were "the envy of the park"! I have to agree. Mind you we have only used it for one week while RVing at Southwick State Park on the East end of Lake Ontario. However, during that week we had 30-40 MPH winds and strong showers along with a couple of very nice days. The shelter worked GREAT. My wife was able to assemble it quite easily. One thing to note is that the design does leave a gap around the base, probably for ventilation. This allows for sand "splatter" on the generator during rain storms. So, we are on the hunt for something to put the generator on that will give us about 12" of "apron" around the shelter to cut down on the splatter. A four foot square rug or something. It is good to say "great product" about something now and then.

Saved the Day during the Blizzard of 2026
I bought this cover in 2022 and probably use it 2-4 times per year during power outages in New England. Just used it again during the blizzard of 2026 and can’t say enough good things about it. This cover saved the week for us as we were out of power for 5 days and it kept our Champion 2500 Dual Fuel Inverter Generator protected from the wind, snow and ice. THANK YOU!!!!
