"You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead-your next stop, The Twilight Zone." Submitted for your approval, Rod Serling's timeless series of fantasy and suspense, which ran from 1959-1964, with a roster of then-current and future stars that included Burgess Meredith, William Shatner, Gig Young, Lee Marvin, Inger Stevens, and Jack Klugman.156 episodes on 24 discs. 74 1/2 hrs. Standard; Soundtrack: English PCM mono; Subtitles: English (SDH); audio commentary; interviews; more.

Episodes are in airing order
Had the set on DVD, but random order. These are in order. Ale no mistake. Even black and white look great in Blu-Ray. Probably because the search for the best original copies to work with

This show was legendary
This show broke new ground at the time. The shows are still great and some of them have very deep subjects. If you have never seen the twilight zone this series is for you.

A marvelous and even macabre mind journey into the core of imagination
There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It's a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of mans fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination, it's an area in which we call the Twilight Zone. Season one contains my favorite introduction to the show.As reviewed by many, the casing of the many discs is sub par, but for myself, taking out the Blue-Ray Disc's is easy. Thus far I've only watched a little more than two dozen episodes, and everyone has fantastic picture and sound quality. From 1959-1964, TV was a journey into the past, present and future, and the creator of "The Twilight Zone," Rod Serling set new standards for science fiction, horror and the bizarre in this fantastic TV series. Serling's introductions and conclusions to the episodes are fitting and his voice and writing seized my senses in many of the episodes."The Printers Devil," starring Burgess Meredith as the devil is classic TV at its zenith. Exit the infernal machine and with it his satanic majesty Lucifer, Prince of darkness, aka Mr. Smith, Serling said at the conclusion of "The Printers Devil." These words spoken by Serling seized my imagination. Delicious dialogue is laden throughout many of the episodes, and it will be a long time before I view all 156 shows and that's OK for me.It's understandable "The Twilight Zone" was a stepping stone for many future Hollywood stars. The writing was gripping and sometimes disturbing, but always intriguing. Perfect for the month of October incidentally. The shows include original and remastered audio, and most of them have other special features. A booklet with an episode index would have been nice, but bravo to the CBS Studios 2021 remastering of this TV classic. If you've never seen any of these shows and appreciate witty dialogue and solid story lines, I highly recommend this Blue-Ray Disc set. "Time Enough at Last," "The Masks" are just a couple of the many episodes that have cemented themselves into the heart of time and real entertainment. As stated by Serling; Science fiction: the improbable made possible. Fantasy, the impossible made probable. What would you have if you put these two things together? Hearing these words in "The Fugitive" with Serling's signature voice will never cease my journey into the 5h dimension.

Great show
Packaging is questionable, however the presentation of this series is high quality and well worth the price of this timeless masterpiece .

Great Release
Fantastic release of this show. I'm running this on a PC through a 4K projector TV and it looks FANTASTIC. I couldn't be happier. The transfer is great and the extras blew me away. I'm so glad I misunderstood my wife when she said, "I LOVE The Twilight Zone". She was referring to on of the movies, not the sparkly vampires...though she does love those too.

Twilight Zone on Bluray....with a caveat..
No need to go into details here. TZ fans know each title by heart and every detail, so now the original series is on Bluray discs.I have the DVD collection but thought I would take the plunge and upgrade. My eyes can see a difference when viewing with my 4k projector and 110" screen. Were I watching on a 40-55" tv, the differences would likely be harder to discern. Picture quality wise, each episode looks as great as it could possibly be, including the few done on video tape. Now the caveat....and it is HUGE! Others have riled on the packaging of these discs. They are correct! These discs are very difficult to remove from their hubs. Extreme care must be used....but with great care and patience, I was able to remove every disc without any damage/breaking. Simply stay calm..try to hold the disc by its edges....press down firmly on the hub and the disc will come off. It may take you several attempts to get the procedure down pat, but you can do it. Deep breaths help. After removing each disc with care, I placed them into their own individual case. There is really no excuse to have such terrible packaging....just begging for cracked/broken discs....but it is what it is....hence the 4 stars. Perhaps I am being too generous here.
