GREAT WORK SURFACE!
I take apart, modify, tune, adjust, and clean my handguns often. Its part of the hobby and its fun. I would lay out an old hand towel on my benchtop because I did not want to scratch my guns or my benchtop. The towels get nasty after a while, so I started using a couple of mousepads. Then I came across this Tekmat for my CZ-75. It is much larger than the mousepads and while thin, it is more than thick enough to protect my guns and the work surface. The best part is the exploded view of the gun which is numbered and names all the parts. Being able to see the schematic while you work makes it much easier when you are stripping the gun down to parade rest. Well stripping it down is not too hard, but putting it back together correctly is really the challenge. The mat is also machine washable.Cons: I am still giving it 5 stars even though someone forgot to proofread the mat before production. Part #33 is the MAGAZINE CATCH SPRING and part #35 is also listed as MAGAZINE CATCH SPRING, even though it is really the MAGAZINE CATCH SPRING SCREW. Sure its a tiny mistake and hopefully the manufacturer reads this and corrects it on future printings.I actually like it enough that I will probably be ordering some mats for my other model handguns and one larger mat for working on ARs.

cool idea but not sure it is a really good mat for cleaning guns on.
The mat is a great tool to help identify parts because the manual that came with the gun doesnt label the picture. The base is made of a non-slip foam material. the top is a fabric that is adhered to the foam. My issue is that oils and solvents are going to soak into the mat and ruin it. I am nervous to actually use it for a cleaning mat. A plastic-covered mat would probably be a better idea. For me, my mat has become the monster-sized mouspad.Edit 10-25-12 After owning it for a little while, I have to rate it higher. It is machine washable and tougher than it initially seemed. It is a bit on the thin side, so even though I am upgrading my rating, I am not going to give it 5 stars due to the fact that it is only 1/8" think. Personally, I would have preferred it twice that thick.

Using As A Mouse Pad
I was going to get a small $10 Steelseries Mouse Pad but decided to spend a little bit more and get something larger. The surface so far has been working great my my Roccat Kone XTD mouse. Much better than the Rocketfish Gaming Mouse Pad I was using before. My computer is used for everyday usage and gaming and its been great for both.I have the original Duke Nukem 3D mouse pad that came with the game (wow, it's almost 20 years old now) and it still works and looks great (except for the corner that I doodled on during a phone call). I think this TekMat is pretty much the same so I am not too concerned about the wear.I might get another one to actually use as a cleaning mat but I like it as a mouse pad.

Handy
I like something that tells me how to take apart and how to put together as I do it. Plus it keeps grease and oil off the kitchen table, and that is always a good idea.

Very cool item
I own a couple of CZ-75s, and I can state that without qualm that the diagram is accurate. I don't actually use this for gun cleaning but as a mouse pad. Costs less than similarly sized mouse pads, and is a lot more interesting than most--no, make that all.

You can’t be a CZ Fanboy without one of these so I had to get one.

Solid reference for the CZ 75 and descendants
As a cleaning and disassembly mat, it does the job but won't change your life. As a parts and assembly diagram, I'm very impressed. It covers all the variants in an understandable and useful way.

Very good
I bought this one for my husband and he loves it. The image is very clear, the mat is very good quality for the price. The size is perfect for pistol cleaning. I'd buy one for each guns we have if they were available!!

Try firearms safety brand over Tekmat much better quality.
When I opened the box I was shocked at the poor quality in the thickness of the rubber backing. It's 1/2 as thick as "firearms safety" brand. Wouldn't buy a Tekmat again as the other brand is far superior.

Decent
Be better if it was 11*26 it's fine. Thinner than averageats local for the same price. But if you want it, it's minor.

Design
Auch nach Monaten nicht zerschlissen. Sehr gut die Explosionszeichnung über die CZ :-)
