Perfect Moka and more.
I am writing this review after 3 months of extensive usage. The product is a replica of the Italian Bialetti Moka Express, but in a good way.The quality of the material and the handle is very good, and it is steal for this price!Few things worth mentioning:(i) 3 cups or 6 cups model denote the number of expresso shots they can make, which could be deceiving for Americano or cappuccino lovers. 6 cup model can make a very concentrated coffee, good enough for 3 full size Americano by adding normal water later.(ii) Using hot water drastically reduces preparation time, but be careful while closing the cup as the lower vessel becomes very hot. Low heat is very improtant. Do not use medium or high flame.(iii) Freshly crushed coffee beans make a huge difference. Pre-grounded coffee has no oil or aroma left. It should be finely grounded otherwise the pressure becomes too high and water comes out too strongly from the nozzle.(iv) Stop the heat immediately once you see bubbles coming out of the nozzle. Pour the coffee to avoid further brewing. It takes trail and error to crack the perfect timing that suits your taste. The joy is real when you finally get it!Happy brewing.

Product is tiny and cute
Product ia good. Finish is also good but coating not good. In month time coating started to peel off. Otherwise good for one cup coffee.

Awesome addition to my coffee tools collection!
The media could not be loaded. I've had a couple of cheaper ones before buying a Bison Moka. Both were about half the price of this mocha pot (Bison Milano). Both of the cheaper ones would boil the coffee (once brewed) too easily, it didn't matter how high or low the flame was. Once it finished brewing if I didn't get it turned off right away coffee would boil. It also didn't pour well. You had to lift the lid and then it was still easy to drip if poured too fast. I can definitely see a quality difference it this pot and the others. I've had it about few days now and I can tell a big difference in the quality. The craftsmanship feels much better, I think it must heat more evenly (the coffee in the pot once brewed doesn't boil as quickly) pours much better without spills/ leaks/drips. Perhaps the aluminum is thicker. I also have not noticed any pitting in the bottom pot. I'm very happy with it. If I ever need another one, I'll try to get this brand again. For the days like today, when I run out of my favorite coffee beans to fill my precious machine, but still had some ground coffee, I have a stovetop espresso maker. A stovetop maker that makes the old-school espresso is a must-have in any kitchen, and can still beat any high-end espresso machine.I previously had a similar one, but my mom "borrowed" it after she tested my coffee. So now I've got this red, "hot" 6-cups beauty only for myself. The quality of the materials is a top notch, though the paint has gotten already tiny scratches, but this unavoidable, unfortunately.I always make a point to place the espresso maker on the burner in the way, that its handle is staying out of the heating circle (I have a ceramic glass cooktop), for this way it will remain intact longer.I'm always getting a perfect cup of coffee.Thank you Bison, I am impressed.

Doesn’t work properly
I have been using moka pots for several years from different brands, it’s a simple mechanical product. Never did I imagine even that can be so faulty. The coffee doesn’t go above half the upper chamber no matter what’s the strength of flame. Utter waste of money and a challenge to handle every morning.

Best Coffee Maker ever used..
The Bison 3 cup maker brews two cups of coffee (I dilute the espresso to make coffee "Americano") . I add some cream or milk to get the perfect cup of coffee. The coffee maker is easy to use as follows:1) Rinse it out with plain water before the first use and after each subsequent use. DO NOT ever put it in the dishwasher! It will cause the aluminum to turn gray.2) Make a weak brew of coffee and discard. This will "season" the brewer.3) Fill the filter with ground coffee and level off, do not tamp it down.4) Fill the reservoir with cold tap water and put the filter in. Then just screw on the upper half and put it on the stove.5) Use a medium to low heat (do not use high heat as it may burn the handle, damage the rubber seal and the high heat would produce a less than desirable coffee) under the brewer and close the lid. It will take about 6 to 8 minutes for the water to begin to boil.6) When the water in the reservoir starts to boil the steam will propel it up through the ground coffee and into the upper reservoir. There will be a gurgling sound. Turn the heat down to low and wait for the water to fill the upper reservoir.7) When the sound gets loud it means the bottom reservoir is empty and then turn off the heat. Can also check this by carefully opening the top and watching for when the top reservoir is full.8) Be carful pouring the coffee - it is really hot! Enjoy!I have found that just about any medium ground quality coffee will make good coffee in this pot. Just be sure the beans are fresh. The machine should be rinsed with plain water after each use (I use a paper towel to wipe it down). No need to use soap and never put it in the dishwasher. The only part of the brewer that may need replacing is the rubber gasket. Other than that, this is an easy to use brewer that requires minimal maintenance.
