Amazing
This book was incredible. The author wrote so much, and when I set the font to "Droid Sherif" the total page count was almost 4,500 pages. The characters were extremely well written, and everything was thought out. There were quite a few twists that I did not see coming. I would recommend this book to anyone, Assassin's Creed fan or not. The author is very good at explaining the Assassin-Templar War to anyone who is not familiar with the series. I have been reading the Assassin's Creed comics, but this has kicked every other written work out of the ballpark. I would completely recommend this book.

This book is written for fans of the games
First I'm a huge fan of the Assassin Creed games. I have owned and played every one of the Xbox 360 console & Xbox One games released. So I picked up on a lot of the background story that the author put in for fans like me and I loved that. It really seamed the author was a fan herself and wrote to me the fan.Secondly, I am a huge history buff and this book seemed well researched of names, places, dates, & events that any Joan of Arc enthusiast would like.Last, great read, I couldn't put it down or if I did I couldn't wait to pick it back up. The ending really left it open for a sequel & I would totally buy and read that book in a heartbeat.

Truly enjoyed the tale
As a fan of this franchise from the very beginning, this story was a lot of fun. It also made me want to learn about Joan of Arc. Fascinating stuff!

Amazing plot twist
Amazing plot twist! No spoilers but wow - this is a terrific book (and finally something for the Templar folks!). Loved it - hope there is a sequel?

Flaws make it harder to read...
This is a prequel to the "Assassin's Creed" movie. There are two reasons that I cannot rate it higher.1. Poor editing. Words are missing and misspelled. Shifts to new scenes without any clear indication.2. Proves the movie is not independent of the video games and other books. It is a continuation of something millions of people know nothing about.Simon Hathaway enters the Animus to discover the secrets that surround a sword alleged to be used by Joan of Arc.The explanation given is lackluster. The final twist given before the epilogue is not that great...but getting there is intriguing--I will not subtract more points this time.

The best...!

If you are a fan of history or the Assassin's Creed universe, give this a read.
I'll start off with an admission of the fact that I am an Assassin's Creed fan. This was a great book. It tells the tale of Joan of Arc within the Assassin's Creed universe. It tells a new story and does not exist in any of the games but does tie in with the Assassin's Creed movie. The only downside to the novel is the flawed editing that have allowed many typos to make it to print.
