This is a beautiful dress. I bought this for a wedding and got so many compliments. I even continue to get compliments when people see pictures. It’s sort of a scuba material so you have a Little stretch. The gathering in the front is perfect for hiding that little bit of extra in your midsection. The dress was very slimming. The only issue was that the delivery was complicated. I’ve never had this happen with Amazon before, but they would not deliver the dress without sending me a code on my phone and I had to give the code to the Amazon driver prior to delivery. This was a huge inconvenience for me because I work in a location and I cannot have my phone and let’s face it, who is home during the day to retrieve a code to give it to the Amazon driver. I don’t know why this was required and I’ve never had this situation with Amazon before. I tried to contact them and ask why this was and they couldn’t explain it. I live in a very safe area and never had any package delivery issues. I’ve had much more expensive things delivered to the house before that were left at the porch with no issues. I almost wasn’t able to get the dress, but just by chance my husband was there to get the code for the driver. I don’t recall seeing anything about the delivery when I ordered it that this was a requirement. If I had noticed it, I may not have ordered it. It almost caused me to not have a dress in time for the wedding. Huge inconvenience on delivery. I asked many others that order from Amazon if they ever experienced this and none had so I have no idea what the issue was with this dress.

I recently purchased this dress to wear to a wedding, and it is truly sophisticated and beautiful. The material is thick, providing a sense of quality and durability, yet it is also stretchy, making it incredibly comfortable to wear. This dress strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort.

I wore this dress (size 12) to a wedding. The material is soft and substantial. It looks very expensive. I got many compliments on it. The color is a dark navy although it may look a little lighter in the photo. Compliments a full shape and is very comfortable.

The style is flat ton and worked great for the occasion. It was a little pricey though

I had tried on an Alex Evenings dress, so I knew that the 10 fit me in another style. I ordered the 10, and it fit like a glove. I'm 5'6' 148, 36DD. I did wear a tight under garment, and this dress fit and looked beautiful. It packet well in my suitcase and I felt great wearing it. It hit just above the knee. The plum color was a deep purple. beautiful dress.

The dress was beautiful. It was delivered with a large black stain on the breast and tags were pinned to the dress. The most irritating is, I wanted to do an exchange but Amazon only allowed for a return & repurchase. The price increased $30. I had to pay more for the sellers mistake. The new dress came with a hanger and was tagged as normal which solidified I initially receive a used dress.Beyond this, the dress is comfortable and fits to size.

Fit was perfect but did not like it on me

I love Alex Evenings and I’m 5’1 and their petites look amazing! The cut and fabric are very slimming yet forgiving. The quality is awesome. I am a big fan now!

My body shape has changed in middle age. I have always been quite slim but have developed a bit of a bigger midsection and it is hard to find a dress to fit and look the way they used to on me. This dress hides my belly and looks good!! I am 5’5” and about 140 lbs. Size 8 fits well.My only complaint is how the price for this dress varies and then jumps up drastically. In one of the colours it more than doubled in a week.

The lavender color is gorgeous! Weight of the material and cut is very flattering. Many compliments!

This dress is absolutely beautiful! Fits so well and is very comfortable. I think it would be flattering on almost any figure. Fabric is lightweight yet heavy enough to not be clingy.
