It fit perfect.
Came on time. Took about 10 min start to finish. Seemed to be as good as original. $20 compared to $168 at the auto store. We will se if it lasts. Today I am extremely pleased.

Superior quality
I replaced the original latch on my 2012 Ford Escape with this part. First let me say, to my surprise, this part was far superior in quality compared to the original. The latch itself on the original was plastic. The replacement has a metal latch. It’s not hard to guess which will last longer. The electric plugs plugged in easily and securely. I am definitely impressed with the value for the money with this part. Overall, the installation was fast and easy. One recommendation is to open your rear glass when reinstalling the plastic cover panel on the inside of the hatch. It provides better clearance with the rear window defogger. Buy with confidence.
