Very powerful.
This is a lot of bang for the buck. Been starting my 55cc and 60cc engines with this unit and you better hold on tight. A pair of light work gloves is a great help in protecting your hands. This starter was well worth it.

Useability
The starter cone wabbles , which makes it unuseable.I will try to make a new one, but may have to send it back for a refund

It works fine and it is more powerful and less exspensive than the Sullivan starter
I like the power and the price the only thing I don't like is the handle is not comfortable to hold on to at all

Shipping was great starter works awesome I have big gasoline models and this starter is very strong and turns the engines over without hesitation thank you

Poor design and very poor workmandhip
First the handle is so small it makes it almost impossible to control with one hand. Second, the cone wobbles so bad it takes 2 hands to control on a cone shaped spinner and is impossible to use on a dome shaped spinner. I would return this product but unfortunately I cut the wires to install a connector for a Li Po battery. My loss.

I needed a HIGH TORQUE engine starter to start my FUJI 55 CC gasoline engine on a YAK 54 plane since my regular starter doesn't even move the spinner on my big YAK 54. Therefore I looked around Amazon and found this one. I was skeptical at first but after receiving this starter I took my plane to the field and hooked it up to a regular 12v battery. This works great and I am very happy with it.

Worth it
Overall good quality. Machine work on the cone was causing a severe vibration. I was able to correct in a lathe. Havnt had much chance to use at the air field yet but around the house it is great.

Soft Aluminum
I have had this starter for 4 years. But after hardly any use at all the splines in the cone holder have stripped out rendering the starter useless. Since I can't find a large splined replacement cone. The aluminum the cone is made of is way too soft, If they are going to use aluminum for the cone the spline that goes on the starter shaft should be a steel insert. Looks like JB weld and some American ingenuity to the rescue.
