A Must have tool for Installation!
This conduit cutter is a must-have for anyone working with electrical installations! It provides clean cuts every time, saving a ton of time and effort and takes no space up in the toolbag. The build quality is solid, and it feels like it will last for years. Compared to using a hacksaw or bog standard cutters, this tool is a game-changer. It makes conduit cutting quick, precise, and much safer. Highly recommend it for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts!

invest in this tool it's worth it!
Great handy tool to have to cut plastic conduit pipes. Not a bad price to pay as it really did help me over the weeks when installing the electrics to my log cabin. saves time by not cutting each bit by hand, just a simple few turns and you have a clean cut. Good strong plastic, well made.

so much better than a saw
Great product. Cuts really well if there is a lot of pipe to work with. Only 4* due to it being very awkward if you need to trim a small amount of an end

Excellent, once I realised how to use it.
I was using this for 35 mm PVC waste pipe and initially I could not get a good cut, it was always spiral. Perhaps I am a bit slow, but once I realised that it works much better by doing an initial shallow scoring cut and completing the cut in a total or 3 or even 4 turns, I constantly got very good results.

Game changer for anyone regularly cutting plastic pipe
I work in air conditioning and deal with plastic condensate drains pretty much daily. I used to rely on standard ratchet cutters, but they never lasted long and would often crush the pipe rather than give a clean cut. Picked these up after seeing someone recommend them, and I’ve not looked back. Clean, smooth cuts every time with way less effort. The blades seem to last well, and the whole thing is solid without being bulky — fits nicely in the tool bag and it’s now a permanent part of my kit. If you’re on-site regularly and fed up with cheap cutters failing, these are well worth it.

Inferior
I bought to replace the rothenberger pipe cutter and it is a inferior replacement. Does not give it a smooth neat cut and requires a lot of squeezing to the tool to cut which can be very awkward in certain situations. The cut always seems to be jagged and not level as well and can lead to problems when using fittings or traps etc. Either rothenberger or ox next for me

Great item.
Very clever design and excellent to use. But it does take a little getting used to, to use it perfectly. It folds so it tucks away nicely in my tool box.

Professional quality & engineering! 🐯
It may seem expensive, but this is a high quality professional tool and the results are impressive. It’s very well engineered and accurate, spare blades are provided (and also available to purchase). If used correctly this tool generates incredibly clean symmetrical cuts but it’s important to read the instructions properly before use as technique is everything in order to maintain a clean neat edge! It’s important to first create a guide track with soft equal pressure, only then do you use the guide track to cut deeper (with increasing force) until the cut is all the way through. If you just grip it hard and twist it without making a guide first it will make an asymmetrical mess (user fault not tool). Also something to keep in mind is regardless of appearance, extrusions meander all over the place in terms of symmetry (a pair of Vernier callipers will illustrate that quickly). As the tool uses the circumference of the extrusion as the guide, any minor deviation in symmetry (fabrication tolerances) will result in a skewed cut. Again not the tools fault, but with practice and care you can produce consistent clean cuts (as neat a laser can)!

It is a really good knife for PVC thin wall pipe. I use the tool for PVC-simple 2". It's a very comfortable and fast cutter for this task. And not really quick cutter for PVC-636 2", as the 636-sistem has fatter wall. When you cut thin wall pipe PVC-simple 2" with cutter like a guillotine, you usually have risk to broke edge of pipes, especially when outside is a low temperature. Then the Knipex BiX® Cutter for Plastic Pipes can help you out, be sure.
