It works and leaves you options to tinker with.
It’s about the cheapest option you can buy. Shoots unbelievably well. Sights are as basic as you can imagine. It’s tough to cock with the rope tool but it works. I spent an hour on this thing with a 41/2” grinder and a belt sander fixing the ergonomics and functionality. It has been countless hours of fun and I do recommend it for a low cost but effective option.

No instructions
I guess I will try to figure out how to assemble,If I can't I will be returning. I got the aluminum one, seems well made, fairly heavy.I will update review later.Did anyone receive a second one after entering promo code? Update. Impossible to put string on without a loader. Buy a loader stringer. Bolt went clean through 12 inch thick target backed with 4×doubled carpet at 100ft lost both bolts. I'm pleased

Missing parts
This is the 2nd time I've bought this crossbow thinking I would get any sort of reprieve and yet it didn't happen. There are missing parts for the cooking stirrup. There isn't any proper instructions for assembly and the company that sells it no longer exists apparently since their customer service number always goes to voicemail and they don't have a way to email them. Steer clear of Woodsarcheryrange and their products.

crossbow
I like this one. took it deer hunting. it performed well and doesn't scare the neighbors like the tactical looking crossbow does. doesn't attract the game warden either. like the wood furniture on it.

Not a toy!
These can be used for hunting. I recommend buying a crossbow stringer, a 11mm to weaver base and a red dot or other optic. The sights are a little lacking. The mount point for a quiver will require a bracket be made as I cannot find a quiver that fits. It's well built, all aluminum and seems fairly rugged.Replace the sights get sone 18 inch carbon bolts and multi blade broad heads and wait for deer season.

Money well spent
Was looking for something fun to shoot. Believe me when I tell you! This is a blast to shoot. We don't do anything but shoot at targets with it and so for, we have been having a great time. Growing a bond with someone over something as simple as this is money well spent!!!

OK for the money but...
The instructions are almost without value as the parts indicated do not match what you get-namely one adhesive pad instead of two, a plastic insert that takes place of the missing pad, and instruction with text and photos that are seriously lacking.Stringing the bow is difficult and the photo shows my method whick worked well.Cocking the bow is really hard on the hands so I have ordered a cable to aid in this. You only get 2 bolts so order additional.I have yet to shoot the bow but as others have said the sight looks to be crude at best. An upgrade will be necessary.
