Are they dishwasher safe?

No. The box they arrived in says not to use detergent (!) and to only "wash" by hand with water. I put "wash" in quotes because how can you really clean something without soap? I returned them immediately because this web page incorrectly says they're dishwasher safe. If you can't wash them properly, I would guess they're not even food safe. No thanks!

They're pretty small. Smaller than I expected. Maybe 3/4 of an ounce capacity each. It works for a condiment, like ketchup or soy sauce, but not much more.

My cat gets 1/4 cup of food. Are these big enough to hold 1/4 cup of kibble?

I don’t have these plates, but the plates I bought were flat enough for my fur babies to eat because their whiskers were in the way with any other dishes.

How many ounces of sauce do they each hold?

They dishes are very small. They are like individual dipping sauce dishes. I would estimate about 2 Tablespoons (1/8 cup). They are very handy, though, for salt dishes, individual butter servers, etc.
