MUCAR Car Scanner, OBD2 Scanner CS2 Scan Tool ABS SRS Check Engine Car Code Reader, Diagnostic Scanner with TPMS Oil EPB Service Reset, Diagnostic Scan Tool with SRS Airbag Scanner (Style-US)

This is my honest review MUCAR Car Scanner. First I will say I had an Air/Bag dash light show up and it kept beeping at me, as if my seat belt was not connected. I found the problem and fix it, yet the light remained on. I first bought MUCAR 2 System Professional Scanner unit and I received it quick. Went through the instructions and the screen where you input for WIFI connection, the screen just sat there and never open another screen. I pushed all the buttons on the screen and nothing, so I return it the next day and order FOXWELL Car Scanner NT604 Elite OBD2 Scanner. When I receive this it reset the light and no more problems. Now with that background, I received an email from MUCAR asking me if they can help with my problem, I told them that I return it and why. They were helpful and wanted me to know that they put out a good product so they sent me one to do my own review, so here it is Pros: #1 USB is a USBC type compare to FOXWELL Micro-B (I prefer type C) #2 Graphics are clear and sharp FOXWELL not much graphics and at times hard to read the gray type that might show up #3 Update for many types of vehicles nice touch, seems to me there was not any unless you create a web ID, the FOXWELL could not ID my vehicle, sort of had to agree to the closest one, where MUCAR found mine and the VIN as well. #4 Can reset oil, TPMS and Brake service light, FOXWELL model I bought could not CONS: #1 no SD card, FOXWELL had one #2 I did not like to have to stay connected to the internet when using MUCAR, I think that once I have put all the info in for your vehicle you do not need internet, so I tried it and it could not scan my vehicle (even though I went into history). It ask that I connect to network or it would not be accurate, though I could scan vehicle health, FOXWELL no internet connection needed. When I scan (using MUCAR) the last time using internet it work and show me cost for part repair, so I am thinking this is why it needs internet to show you code and repair/part?So, it functions fine for what I need, and so it is a keeper.

First, there is no mention of needing to purchase additional 29.99$ app to be able to reset oil or service reminders. The scanner was not able to detect anything on my Audi, even after the update. It was asking for 29.99$ per year to reset my service interval, which on my electric Etron is not necessary as frequently. Highly disappointed.Furthermore, this does not work on Chrysler Pacifica either.

This product is awesome for its price. Definitely a game changer. Will save you money, time and endless headaches in the future

I like this model of ODB2 scanner and the fact that it does far more that just read the codes but also preforms more pro grade features lending itself as a true diagnostic tool as well. The body is well build and robust like a shop tool should be. The screen is bright looks great and easy to touch, even with greasy fingers. The price point is low which is nice but this does not take away from what I feel is a very robust and well built tool making it a great value for the price.I highly recommend it.

Bad experience they charged me twice for This item I still have the bad item in my house ande they charged me for it here you can see in this picture It doesn't turn on, it just stays like that with the image of the battery. They charged me $185 for an item that doesn't work.
