I bought this for a dahlia grower friend who has pretty much every other book on the flowers. I figured this would be a cutesy little coffee table style book with some basic dahlia facts interspersed with beginners text, but it actually had a bit more in depth info than I expected.

I adore this book and series! (I also have the Peonies book) The illustrations are gorgeous, and the information is wonderful. Beautiful books that I will pick up time and time again to browse.

Bought both books in this series for a gardener friend. She is new to the dahlia world and commented later that she found the book helpful and well-written. I’m not a gardener myself, but really loved the illustrations and well put together the book is, really made a beautiful and useful gift.
