An investment you'll never regret
I sometimes get my hands on some sweet tickets to baseball games when the bigwigs at the company where I work don't want to go to a game. It might seem like a windfall when someone hands you two tickets with a face value of $65 or $80 but when you actually go to the game you soon learn you will spend at least that much on food and beverages. Eleven dollars for a Bud Light? I can pick up a twelve pack for $9.99 at the corner liquor store. Heck, even the bar at the Four Seasons doesn't charge that much! No joke. Ball park prices are ridiculous. Enter the Barnoculars. The 13 shots of Jim Beam my friend and I consumed at the game last night would have cost us at least $130. As it was, the booze and the Barnoculars together were only $30. And next time I'll have saved even more.A few words on the item I haven't seen in other review. They're cheap plastic with better quality plastic reservoirs. The "lenses" and the lids can be separated on mine. I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug. In any event, I see it as a benefit since the lids can actually be used as little shot glasses if you're so inclined. One small blip: because the actual lid to the reservoir and the lens-like decoy can be separated you have to be careful about closing the lid. When packing for the game I thought the lid was on tight, but it wasn't due to slippage between the lid and the "lens" and after a few minutes I had a backpack smelling like bourbon. Fortunately, I was able to close the lid without incident and brought a less smelly backpack to the game. They look pretty realistic and with the added weight of the liquid when they're full they "feel" more convincing. Though truthfully, anyone looking for them could spot them with minimal scrutiny. But no one is really looking for them. The pair of binoculars next to a burrito in my backpack at the security check at last night's game didn't look out of place, so they waived me through. The Barnoculars have already paid for themselves!

IZZZZ DOPE!
SO DOPE! I haven't had any issues with leaking that other reviewers have mentioned. It works perfect! Most venues don't even suspect a pair of -frankly large- binoculars to be filled with alcohol! I've brought this ol' chap into multiple venues in NYC and haven't heard a word about it. My flasks always get taken away, but never these babies :)

Love them, just buy superglue also
Update 11/1/13 - I sealed these up with superglue on the outsides and now they are amazing! I upped it to 4 stars, b/c now they are the product I was hoping for when purchased, and I couldn't be happier. I get a lot of compliments on my binoculars!! And man... they hold a lot of booze, it's the best and worst thing ever.Original review - I bought these for a costume, and right off the bat, one of the sides started to leak and i had to empty it out. The other side made it through one day, rather well, and then started to leak during the second use. Kind of a let down, as I was SUPER EXCITED about these. But I am going to try to figure out a way to make them work. Maybe some superglue around the seams or something. My friend said I should return them, but my response was "I don't think it's worth the shipping". So - just know what you're getting yourself into with these - HIGH possibility they will leak. They kind of feel like just hollowed out binoculars.... OH- speaking of, they totally look realistic - no one could tell they weren't real!!Update 4/21/14 - I'm buying another pair for my brother. These are maybe the best thing I've EVER PURCHASED!!!

just enough
I will admit, I have a couple of flasks...'cause sometimes you just need a good quick shot! I saw this one and the umbrella... I was like......Okay!! now how interesting is that(?) I bought the Binoculars, OMG! it's actual size, and look freakin' real, and seems of excellent quality too/wow... then darn thing even comes with a funnel and string for your neck to carry 9but that's made a bit weird), but no biggie, make your own…. This is soooo worth it for yourself, and a great gift too.

It leaks, sadly
Good design, but it has a slight leak. I could put it in a plastic bag, but kind of ruins the whole cover story of them being binoculars.

and the funnel that it comes with is a great add on
Exactly as the description says. It leaks a little bit if you turn it upside down, but otherwise no issues. They look very authentic and I have taken them into sporting events, theme parties at bars, and even music festivals. Holds 16 oz of liquid which is a lot, and the funnel that it comes with is a great add on.

These are really great
This was actually a replacement for the one I have had for years. It was finally wearing out. The caps are a bit loose so you have to keep an eye out on those but these really work great for sporting events and concerts. Have never had anyone look twice at them.
