Very good product
The machine started to run right after the second pull every time. It's light weight and very decent quality.. It even has a zinc bar for marine protection from rust. The user needs to do certain basic maintenance such as empty the tank and run all the gas in the reservoir out before storing it. Also the oil level in the lower unit needs to be checked frequently because it does not have a very large lower unit oil reservoir. Overall the machine is more than what I expected in term of design, usability, operability, and price. However the engine does consume oil and needs to be checked for oil level every hour of usage. The noise level is also loud at high rpm. After about 20 hours of usage, the pin that locks the prop to the shaft shattered and let me stranded in the middle of the water. My suggestion is to use this machine close to the shore. It’s a low cost machine so we have to treat it as it is.Just found out IT IS 1.5 HP NOT 4 HP AS ADVERTISED

Good motor but be careful
Keep in mind I'm a mechanic by trade.Nice little motor for the price. Starts and runs good. Serves its purpose, to push a little boat around. On assembly I noticed the upper attachment bolt holes needed to be chased with a tap. No big deal for me but average Joe might have a problem and strip out some threads if not careful.

Works great on 12’ jon boat!
Picked this up for my 12 year old son’s jon boat. Perfect as a first setup for him. Engine starts easy for him, runs very well, and it moves his boat pretty good! Pleased with my purchase!

One pull start up
Got it fill oil and gasoline primed the ball one pull choke and ran one pull .. it runs around 6 to 8 mph 4 stroke took it fishing the wifey and I had just good times being together

What do expect for this money
Motor never ran good. Would run for awhile and start coughing almost quitting. My 2.5 hp mercury is more powerful. But it did get me to shore several times. I gave it away after 25 hours. I did like the clutch set up.

Great customer service
This a perfect motor for a Jon boat , or inflatable boat !! I put it on my Coleman crawdad , motor is quiet enough to troll !! First day out caught 2 large mouth bass !!! And moves the crawdad with out a problem !! Great motor great customer service !!!!!!!
