Case Files: Death by Chef's Knife for 1 or More Players Ages 14 and Up

I've had this game for a little while. I finally got the chance to play it over the holidays. It was super fun. Wasn't too hard to play. Was great for a group of friends to sit and think. I absolutely recommend this game for a friend's fun night!

Loved this! I was so impressed! We did this at a little group party, some were kids and they had fun too! The younger ones enjoyed the texts and emails the most feeling like they were getting all the tea lol I feel like if you're really paying attention the answer is definitely there, it's not out of the question, not convoluted- there is a definitive answer to find, while challenging enough in the way anybody really could have done it because anyone's motive is plausible to varying degrees. I especially enjoyed the fact that I could look freely through anything and everything as much as I wanted to because there was no solution and even no clues or hints in the box- those have to be looked up separately online (and it's very easy to lookup - they give you the website for clues and a separate web page for the solution on a page stuck to the front so that you can't miss it, and also can't accidentally get the solution while looking for a hint- that in itself, having two separate web pages, is very thoughtful). You literally just open the box and have at it which, for me, I enjoy the most. I find it more immersive and less confusing than the "now open envelope 3 but don't glance at envelope 4 too directly yet or the plot is ruined" format. 10/10 will recommend and buy again.

Family worked together to solve the mystery, there are plenty of papers to pass around for a large group to always have something for everyone to look at and assist in the clue gathering. For the clues there was lots of information and it was great to talk amongst the group to shift through all of the content to find the crucial clues. Some members missed the inclusion of puzzles like a coded message. The crime report also felt incomplete like there was random items that weren't listed belonging anywhere. After the family solved the murder we also looked at the hints and found them amusing as well. They don't give you answers but feel like a humorous guiding partner.

This makes you a real detective if you could solve it very interesting keeps you thinking I really like them

The materials were put together well and good quality. A group of us had a great time figuring out who did it based on all the evidence. The online interaction also helped confirm our findings in the end.

This was a fun one. It was kinda obvious who the killer was. Lots of unnecessary information but we finished in about an hour

The set up cute. The game was fun and creative. Are only caveat is that it was too easy. Right in the beginning my daughter and I guessed who it was before reading all the evidence. Because it was so obvious, we thought there was no way it could be the person we thought it was.

Comprei para jogar no halloween com um grupo de amigos, fizemos toda a temática da festa em torno do jogo e foi realmente muito divertido, o jogo é totalmente imersivo, com itens e provas, testemunhos para ler. É demorado mas vale a pena, me senti uma verdadeira investigadora, o debate depois com os amigos para avaliarmos as opções e culpados, sensacional! O jogo é totalmente dependente da compreensão do inglês, são muitos textos e sem entender não dá pra jogar, mas um dos amigos que estava conosco usou bastante a ferramenta de tradução de textos em imagens que o celular tinha, então foi bem possível. Uma nota 10!

This was a gift for a fried and He loved to include others in this game. Great time with friends and off the screens!

It was alright luckily in English cause I was worried in which language it will arrive We solved in a little over an hour, 4 people The murdered was a bit obvious and we didn't wanna think that it was the most obvious answer but the process was kinda fun

My daughter plays this regular with her friends at parties.

Great for dinner parties. I loved this one. When you find the answer it so cool. Would recommend.
