Plug and play
Product was simple plug and play. Auto headlights worked with sensor that is build into the vehicle. I returned due to finding a cheaper alternative but if you prefer new then this is the product for you.

Works Great, Converted Manual Switch to Automatic
I installed this in my wife's '09 Mariner. She had a manual lamp switch and I wanted to switch it over to automatic. There's a daylight sensor on the dash and the stock wiring is 100% compatible. I installed the lamp switch from my Escape in her Mariner beforehand so I didn't waste any money on a hunch. Just a tip, there's a panel on the side of the dash you can open up for easy access to the lamp switch. The wiring harness has one clip and it can easily be removed and then a small flathead screwdriver can be used to press in on the metal tabs holding the switch in place. There are two, one on either side. If you just try to shove or pry the switch out without dealing with the tabs first it'll chew up the plastic on your dash.

Ordered for my 2009 Escape after reading reviews. Perfect fit and works like a charm. Automatic headlights for 40 bucks, I'll take it.
