I wanted this to carve out my bonsai trees on deadwood. All the time you work on true deadwood with no sap it seems fine enough, if a little slow to progress, not the quality I was hoping for by going for the alledged best.I nicked some live bark a few times (quite normal) and it clogs dreadfully. So far I've not been able to unclog it, tried burning, and IP but it remains clogged. It still works but shifts very little.

I make and sell chopping boards and when a round-nosed router bit gets a bit dull and leaves a burn mark in a handle, I used to spend hours sanding it with sand paper but I found this rotary burr to use with my Dremel and it solves my issues within seconds. Requires a steady hand and a gentle touch but I never have to sand those awkward grooves again.

I have only used this briefly so far, but compared to the carbide tips I have been using this is amazing, very fast and easy stock clearance which allows for a greater degree of accuracy, definitely worth adding a few kutzall burrs to your collection, carbide bits will still have their place for detail though

Fantastic little bit of kit ! Point to consider is try using different speeds on your mini drill when using on different types of wood, really makes a difference. I tend to use setting 3 out of 6 for best level of control. Highly recommend.

Kutzall rotary burrs nothing to dislike about them, they do exactly what you need them to do, not cheap rubbish, what ever one you choose from the range they carve the wood and have a good useful life
