Ateco8 Piece Cake Decorating Set, Silver

This product had everything I needed to decorate some cakes and cupcakes. Easy to clean and good quality.I am new to this and I think if you are just starting out, purchase a kit with a larger bag or a different material. It maybe easier until you get the hang of it. On this smaller bag, it didn't stay twisted and frosting came out the top.

Great set - had some difficulty with it- but I am sure it was user issues - I decorated all my holiday cookies this year with these - Im sure I will get better with practice -would have liked 2 bags with this set.

Purchased for my 10 year old daughter,this is a nice set and she enjoys using it.It is not the highest quality set but it's also not the cheapest quality set just a mid road quality...great for entry level set.

I must say I bought this seconary to looking at big name stores and how they are selling this for 20 bucks! I knew I could count on amazon having it for the rice price, to serve it's function.

It's not a bad little set for the price, and while it didn't hold up for me I also used every color under the rainbow in it and must have washed it 50 times : )

The pastry bag came a little loose around the coupler, causing half of the tips to screw on awkwardly. I attempted to make a tighter fit by cutting off more of the pastry bag end, but that didn't help either. It's still usable, but sometimes the frosting leaks out. I still believe in Ateco products and going to buy another pastry bag, because the material is nice and clean up is easy. This may be just one misfortune.

I purchased this item for my friend's daughter who had just graduated High School and was going to attend Le Cordon Bleu to become a pastry chef. The package did not travel well. I had to open it and rearrange the contents and tape the box closed. It really look cheap as a gift. Therefore I had to purchase other pastry products to give as well to make it more presentable.
