Q: My son wears a five diaper and they are snug so I want to use these in place of a 6 diaper. What size would i have to get him to equal a 6 diaper

My son wears a size 6 diaper and is about 34lbs. He wears a 3T-4T in these pull ups and they are the correct size. No leaks except for an occasional a night but I have realized, after using every different pull up/underjam/goodnight for girls and now boys that the occasional leak will always happen.

Q: What is the difference between the cool and learn and the learning designs training pants for boys? does one offer more day and night protection?

I can only speak for the cool and learn. We never had any issues with them leaking. I would say that it offered plenty of protection. Day and Night.

Q: When you open the sides, can they be reattached? Or do you have to put on a new one?

They are easily reattached after opening. With one of my boys we actually opened the sides and reattached them every time to make the pull ups a bit more snug (he's very thin, but tall, so needed a larger size for the length). There's no need to put on a new one unless the first one is soiled. This is one of the reasons I have long preferred Pull Ups to other disposable training pants.

Q: How do I purchase the next size up? 4T-5T.

Hello, our Pull-Ups® Night*Time Training Pants stop at size 3T-4T so you won't see a 4T-5T listing, however our daytime version does offer a 4T-5T size. Thanks for asking!
