I was really surprised how well these speakers sounded compared to some really high end Paradigms in the house. No they are not going to give you really high volume levels (they're just not that efficient), but they do have really good clarity and dynamic range for small speakers, especially ones that are rated for outdoor use. I highly recommend using with a high-quality sub-woofer in all situations, but if you're looking for a great sounding, small package outdoor speaker...look no further. The price is great, comes with mounting brackets and the 3-way plugs even allow for banana clips. I will be installing them both inside and outside (screened porch) in a small cabin with a sub-woofer to fill up the bottom end. I like the fact that they are small enough to be unobtrusive even on the indoor install. Having the brackets packaged with the speakers guarantees that mounting on log walls will be super easy.What more could you want?My only quibble would be that they are not that efficient; at 6 ohms you really should be using a good amplifier to get the best out of these speakers, especially if you will be driving multiple units (i.e. 6 or more).Heck...with Amazon's return policy just try them out...if not to your liking...just send them back.

Great price, seems to take a lot of power to drive these. Therefore not really loud when used in a multizone setup.

I love those speakers, I had a party and my guest commented on how good the speakers sounded.They are paired with a Yamaha HTR-6040 receiver.I hesitated between these and the 300 watts version and I'm glad I didn't pay the extra. As these are enough to disturb the neighbor.Pros:- Powerful- Good sound quality- Good priceMinor cons:- Bracket was a bit limited for my installation, as I wanted to mount them as close to the ceiling/wall in the corner.

Very durable for the long haul. Ours are several years old and still sound great. I would buy again.These are weather resistant, not weatherproof, so a protected location is best (like under the roof eave).

Have these mounted outside my bar on the patio and they have way more power than expected and sound great. One year down and about to start another and they are still working great!

Amazing for the money! Would have been happy at twice the cost. Obviously at this price they are not full range, but totally met my expectations. Our cabin is rocking!

Great value for Yamaha brand speakers. My husband installed them on our patio & they sound great! Sound carries so good I can hear them at the back of our property.

The volume seems low, but they look good and provide music to my back porch........ that was what I wanted.
