These work as advertised.
I've been using these for the tap water. Water looks clear. Easy to use. Good filtering. I use it for washing my face and brushing my teeth. I have never drank tap water my entire life and will not start now even with a filter.

Essential Pouches for the Ultimate Water Filter
TLDR: The Sawyer Squeezable Pouches are the perfect lightweight, collapsible, and high-capacity dirty water vessels that complete the best-in-class Sawyer Squeeze system. They are fast to fill, easy to use, and absolutely essential for ensuring you always have water to filter on the trail. Introduction Having used the incredible Sawyer Squeeze filter for years, I realized early on that its performance is only as good as the system you pair it with. The Sawyer Products Squeezable Pouches are not just simple bags; they are purpose-built, lightweight, and essential components of a superior water filtration setup. I purchased this set of pouches to have backups and to increase my overall dirty water capacity on long-distance hikes, and they have been flawless. My initial thought was that a plastic pouch is just a plastic pouch—but these are engineered for the task. Detail Your Experience and Analysis The design of these pouches is simple yet highly effective. They are made from a durable, yet flexible material that allows them to be completely collapsed and rolled up when empty, taking up virtually no space and adding negligible weight to my pack. This portability is a massive advantage over bulky hard bottles. The narrow mouth is perfectly threaded to mate with the Sawyer Squeeze filter, creating a secure, leak-proof connection every time. While some hikers find the narrow mouth a challenge for scooping water in a slow trickle, I have found it an asset. It allows for a fast, concentrated stream when filling from waterfalls or seeps, and the bag's flexibility makes it easy to manipulate in shallow pools. When filtering, the pouch is meant to be squeezed or rolled, pushing the water through the filter at an impressive flow rate. They are tough enough to handle the necessary pressure without bursting, a significant improvement over flimsy alternatives. Being able to carry a couple of liters of "dirty" water and filter it on the move or back at camp is a critical advantage, giving me peace of mind about water availability. They truly shine as an integral part of the Squeeze system. Pros and Cons Pros Ultralight and Compact: They fold completely flat, taking up minimal space and weight in a pack. Perfect Compatibility: The 28mm threading is custom-made for a leak-proof seal with all Sawyer Squeeze filters. Increased Capacity: Allows carrying multiple liters of "dirty" water for filtering back at camp or during water carries. Fast Flow Rate: Their durable yet pliable material is strong enough to handle the pressure needed for quick filtering. BPA-Free: Safe and reliable material for carrying source water. Cons Small Opening: Can be a little slow to fill from very shallow or stagnant water sources compared to a wide-mouth bladder. Verdict The Sawyer Products Squeezable Pouches are a five-star piece of gear. They are the essential complement to the best portable water filter on the market, offering the perfect blend of high capacity, minimal weight, and necessary durability. The slight difficulty in filling from the absolute shallowest sources is a minor trade-off for their rock-solid performance and ultralight portability. They are a must-have for anyone utilizing the Sawyer Squeeze or Mini filter for backpacking, hiking, or emergency preparedness.

Usable capacity is about half of rated
I have a mixed opinion of these bags. They are pretty good but have one big downside. PROS *Small & Light *Work well with my Sawyer mini filter *So far all I have used have been robust and not sprung any leaks CONS *Can't fill them easily. I could only manage to get about 16oz into the 32oz bag when filling from a lake. The pros speak for themselves. I'll elaborate on the problem. The bag collapses on itself as soon as it gets in the water. If you could put it under a waterfall, I expect you could get the full 32oz in it. I have to pull it through the lake 3 or 4 times to get enough water in it to be useful which I measured to be 16oz. So it takes two bags worth to fill a standard Nalgene bottle. It works, just takes more "fills" to fill your water bottle. I have an alternative filter system that uses a more traditional water bladder that gravity feeds through a filter. I think it is easier/less hassle to use and will probably be using that one more often than the Sawyer squeeze system.

Great water pouches
Really good water pouches. They work with the Sawyer filters and pack away nicely when you're not using them. I don't know how they hold up in the long term.

Great products and company!
These are much better size compared to the 16oz bags that come with most sawyer mini filters. Plus it's always good to carry an extra bag. I've been using Sawyer products since 2017 and can't be happier. Had an issue only 1 time and customer service took care of our needs!

Much better pouch
I love my Sawyer Squeeze system and these bags just made it better. The old bags did wear out just as the company advertises. The new blue bags seem to be made much better so they will survive use much longer. I watered an entire Boy Scout Troop through an Elkorn High Adventure Base trek in the Rockies last year with this system and the old grey bags. We had 2 other MSR pump filters on the hike but one of them failed in its first use and the other one we discovered was missing parts and never functioned at all! (We had all the parts at the shakedown but they got misplaced getting into the pack) So very simply, unlike the pump water filter systems, the Sawyer Squeeze works every time! It is also 1/4 the weight of the other pumps and the bags can be used to store water for the hike too. The filter will fit any standard water bottle top so when a bag does wear out, I can use other items instead of a bag. I carry 500ml water battles you can buy at any store because they weigh less than Nalgenes and canteens and fit my filter. The old bags were good but these new bags are much nicer. For the weight of one pump filter alone I can carry 4 Sawyer filters, back flush syringe, and 8 of the 64 oz bags capable of holding 16 liters of water! I don't carry cast iron dutch ovens or pump filters when I hike!
