I bought this older version of Centrum because it had amounts closer to the daily recommended amounts. All of the companies have started putting amounts much higher than 100% of the correct amt. in their vitamins now. Having more than the recommended amount is as bad as not having enough. The bottle came without the clear plastic tamper resistant covering over the lid and upper part that edibles usually come with. It did have the little tin foil piece over the opening. After struggling for 3 minutes with the child proof lid I got it open and the smell was very bad. Called the company to try to find out if it was within the due date but couldn't. Now I'm getting a message that it is not eligible for return. Was charged $9, but it is the principle of the thing for me. Amazon recommended this so I hope they will take a look at this.
