I glued some soles back on and then followed up with sewing. I double threaded with one of the hooks. I started from the outside. With the help of needle nose pliars, the job was completed in a short time.

Needed something sturdy to stitch up my convertible top and seats. This kit does the job. Comes with everything i need for a very good price. Spools of heavy duty and light duty threads of neutral colors. One thing that would be great if a red color thread was included. Other that this, very satisfied with this kit.

I purchased this kit so that I could do some leather projects, first and foremost I need to patch a hole in the side of my boot, and I want to use a leather patch to do so. I wanted a curved leather needle, so we got this. The box clearly states "11 leather sewing needles." Great, I expected the wedge-tipped needles that make leather sewing so much easier. These are not they, or at least not all of them are, and none of the curved needles are. There are 3 wedge tipped needles. The rest are simply sturdy needles, which kinda work? But just not as well, and I am a bit disappointed. However, I really can't complain otherwise. They tools are all pokey and sharp, and the thread is all very strong.Simply disagree about the leather sewing needle definition, which given it is a leather sewing kit... Well, it looses a star in my opinion.

Good complete set for emergency stiching.

There are many different colors of thread, and also a thick thread for a Postrio and thinner thread for other jobs. Multiple size needles, curved and straight to handle the job that I needed to get done. I needed to resell a stitch on my couch in two places and it is a fantastic job.

Not only is everything included as described, it is all professional quality and well packaged. 10 heavy thread colors, 6 thicker twine colors, 2 different seam rippers, a punch, an awl, a tape measure, thimble a spring scissor. Also there’s multiple curved mattress needles as well as several upholstery needles. Great kit!
