2 Head blaster worked perfectly, even when i didn't think i could get 1 device to work.
I wasn't sure how these would actually work or if they would with my devices, but after reading several reviews I couldn't pass up the chance to try. We recently got cable at our house, plus we have a Vizio sound stand and a Panasonic TV, so yea, a hodge-podge of brands. I couldn't find any remotes that would sync with the VIZIO until the Mediacom guy linked up the cable one to it, which is cool, but we still need the TV remote, Xbox one remote or controller, and then the cable tv remote to watch TV properly. With this, I put one on the front of the TV to test it out, BAM, the TV now turns off and on with the Xbox one, SO nice! Then next I went for the Vizio, because I knew that would be my biggest issue. After looking through the Xbox and noticing there were no VIZIO brands in its list, it asked for a model number. Dug up the manual and put it in, found it! It took some doing and changing placement of the IR blaster, but eventually it just started working, so now when I turn the Xbox off or on, TV and Sound Stand turn off and on too. Very cool. I originally only bought the 2 Head because I was going to link the TV and cable box, didn't expect the sound stand to work. So at this time, I have ordered the 4 head blaster and should be able to set it up tonight.Very excited as is my Wife, because its her area and it will make it easier for her. This product does what it says, very happy, lets hope the 4 head does the same and I shouldn't have any issues.

Works but not good for wall mounted TVs
It works perfect except that even though it has a 10' cord your devices need to be about 3' apart due to where the cable splits to each IR extender end.I hang my TV on the wall and have my Xbox One and cable receiver underneath the TV in an entertainment stand. There is a pass-through behind my wall to hide the cables for my TV and I am not able to run one IR extender through the pass-through for the TV while the other IR extender remains in the entertainment stand by the cable box. My only option is to mount the cable box on the TV wall mount bracket which I am not going to do.The IR extenders have about 12" range.so I have one mounted on top of my entertainment stand and it does reach my TV but if I pull or rotate my TV from its normal position even a little it will not work.If your TV and set top box are not movable and not to far apart this will work great with an Xbox One S

Waste of time
There should be some kind of disclaimer saying that this will not work if you DO NOT want to run your satellite or cable through the Xbox One without Kinect. I am guessing that is why it doesn't work for me. I tried every which way to get the Xbox Media remote to work the sound on my TV. It did work when I pointed the remote 2 inches from the Ir Extender. I guess my problem is I want the Xbox One for movies and games and the Directv for watching TV and I refuse to have them both on at the same time.

Great: Works with Elite Harmony and Comcast XG1v4-A
Great find. Bought this to try to get my Elite Harmony Hub to control new Comcast (XG1v4-A) 4K DVR. Worked perfectly right away. Remember to put your Comcast DVR in IR mode NOT RF.If your Comcast remote has a setup button press and hold the setup button for 3 seconds. You will get a red light. Hit 987 and the light will turn green meaning successful. If you don’t have a set up button and you have the newest remote that comes with the new 4K DVR from Comcast. Press and hold the A and D button at the same time and wait for the red LED, press 987 and the light will turn green taking the DVR out of RF mode into IR mode. With either step do not use your Comcast DVR remote control or it will automatically put the DVR back in the RF mode. If you have the newest remote take the batteries out of it after putting it in IR MODE.CheersBryce

This IR blaster does work as advertised and can control ...
This IR blaster does work as advertised and can control multiple devices. HOWEVER, a warning to anyone who needs to control several devices that are not close together. Though the cable itself is 10 feet long, the cable splits about 30 inches from the emitter end. Additionally, there is a rubber stop where the cable splits, so you cannot split the cable back further. So, if your AV gear is not close together, I would suggest a different cable.

Perfect for use with a cheap Homeworx hw-150pvr (or similar device)
I came across this when following a guide to get a cheap over-the-air HDTV tuner running through my Xbox One. If you don't use an IR extension cable, the Kinect will blast out the IR commands and hope to bounce them off your back wall. As you can imagine, that doesn't work very well, so do yourself a favor and get something like this. They should really put an IR extender in the box with the Xbox One, but since they don't, this is the simplest solution if you're willing to pay for it. Glue one of the blasters onto the top of your PVR/DVR/etc so that it will blast the IR commands straight into the box, and then you can use voice commands (or the controller) to change channels, etc. This particular extender has two heads (they split off of the same cable) so you can point the other one at your TV or AVR's IR receiver. If you don't want your Xbox to control the TV or AVR, you just can just ignore the second head and tuck it behind the Xbox.

Some tips for initial set up
I'm writing this review because I was a little confused about the size of this device. I added pics because of that. I think it works exactly as expected and I've been happy with the results. The set up wasn't too bad and as long as you can follow directions, you'll be fine. I went through the manual setup to get it to work with my TV correctly. The set up seemed to work fine, but then it would not turn my TV on and off with my console. For it to work correctly with my Vizio, I had to go to Settings/ TV & OneGuide/ Device Control / Device Power Options. There, in the settings for the TV, I had to switch "On" and "Off" both to "toggle". When you get there you'll see what I am talking about. Now, when I turn the XBOX on and off , the TV goes with it.
