The description shows it can use 20V power share batteries but it doesn’t. It requires a different type of battery than shown in the advertisement. Highly disappointed

UPDATEI’ve contacted Amazon and they arranged an immediate refund and return, even though I bought this 2 months ago. I’ve also asked them to inform Worx to stop selling this product in the UK.If you made the same mistaken purchase as me - contact Amazon for a full refund. It’s quite hard to get to chat to a human being, but when you get there it’s worth it!__________I have the Worx lawnmower that I’m very happy with, so bought this leaf blower to be compatible with the batteries. As that was how it was advertised.They don’t fit the batteries and now I have a useless expensive bit of kit that it appears it’s too late to return.Very unhappy

My UK Worx batteries work well with my other Worx tools. This one only accepts US batteries, so don’t buy unless you have US batteries which are different from what we have in the UK. Worx and Amazon are aware of this, but continue to sell on Amazon UK.

I ordered the Worx blower to help clear light snow and since I already had a number of Worx batteries and chargers, ordered just tool. The tool arrived in a box that was already opened which I found odd, but realized it was packaged in the box that should have had both batteries and charger, even the instructions were meant for that. Not a big deal, perhaps there isn’t packaging for a stand alone tool. At least the tool didn’t appear to be used. The blower is very light weight and even with the batteries installed, has good balance. The handle has a rolling switch that turns the machine on, and can be set to increasing intensity. A red turbo button if held down gives the blower some extra power over the max setting. I found that I used this all the time and wished it was just another intensity setting versus a separate button. There is adjustment at the base of the blower that spreads the air (less cfm) or focuses it (more cfm). Again, pointless in my opinion as I always go for max cfm.Battery life is good, I can clear off my double drive way of light snow and my deck usually with one charge and the tool set to max + turbo. One major problem is that when blowing light snow the handle sparks and will give you a shock from the handle. I have to be careful that the snow does not blow back at the machine or the shocks become uncomfortable. To be fair, I have heard this happens with most battery powered blowers used for snow, as it is a combination of dry air, moisture and not enough shielding. If this is an issue, you may want to go with a gas powered one.Overall, I think this is a great blower for the price. It is a bit annoying for blowing snow, but for the most part I can avoid getting shocked.
