The pictures are sweet in this book. And the book is an easy read, great for my 4yr old to understand. Just be prepared, it may make you cry. But I highly recommend

I purchased this book for my granddaughters who had to put down one of their dogs. It gave them peace that their dog was in a better place.

This book was perfect for my 4 year old neice who was greiving the loss of our 16 year old pitty.

The pictures were low grade, the story was not what I hoped for. Keep looking if you have time. Not gift worthy.

This book was easy to read and just enough to heal some of the hurt from losing a pet. My nephew loved it.

I ordered 2 books to help my grandson through the impending loss of my elderly dog. I’m afraid I found this one less helpful. Perhaps I should have paid more attention to the title. The mention of God to a young child not in a religious home could have led to too many explanations of a different kind.That aside, I personally didn’t feel it opened up the process of death and departure of a pet,it was just nice illustrations.

So pleased to find a book that would enable a conversation with my little boy about the loss of our dog.
