Construction tolerances vary
Generally my Selkirk chimney and stovepipe install for my cookstove went well, but the Finish Support Package opening was a bit too small on its outer wall to accept the DSP double wall pipe I was attempting to insert from below. Eventually, I got the pipe attached enough, but the Support box refused to let the inserted pipe seat fully. Considering that both these parts are Selkirk system parts, this seemed strange.

Worked as it should
Worked as is should. Did not have any instructions which caused extra work. I had to take all of my piping down to properly mount the box. There are screw holes in all 4 sides of the pipe above ceiling level that need to be securely attached before pipe is installed, not just the 4 holes in bottom of flat plate. Getting everything to align was a little difficult which is why the box wasn’t mounted correctly the first time.

some ht sections vary in diameter,mine wouldnt set into the support box ,and the drippless adapter was to small dia to twist lock ..selkirk known issue ,difference in OD diameter from lowes super vent,brand made and labled selkirk ,theres about 1/2 difference in diameter ,and it does matter,do your homework
