This medium sized Pure Silvertip brush is the cream-coloured counterpart to the BLK4, and offers the same luxuriously soft lathering experience. The characteristic handle fits easily into the palm of the hand, which makes lathering a dream. Kent typically use a particularly fine grade of silvertip, with a fairly dense fill, so this brush can create and hold onto a lot of lather. One of a handful of top English shaving brush makers, Kent have held Royal Warrants for nine consecutive reigns. The distinctive red presentation cases of their shaving brushes are a reassuring sight for any wet-shaver, though before the resurgence of wet-shaving they were probably best known for combs, hairbrushes and shoe-cleaning brushes. During World War II, Kent supplied the British forces with much of their kit, including special shaving brushes with prisoner of war escape maps concealed in their handles. Made in England
