Well made works perfectly with my Mac Air and 4k screen

I bought this device initially for my Dell XPS laptop as it only has USB-C connections and needed USB 3.0 ports to connect my other devices. The first time I had purchased this, the device kept on intermittently disconnecting and connecting to the laptop (?faulty connection). I had contacted product support via e-mail (contact was a person called Chris) and they had responded quite promptly troubleshooting the issue with me. They had sent another device after I had tried to use the device on another computer (which resulted in the same problem). This new device worked with no issues at all.The customer support was really good and was resolved in a timely manner.

Plugged into my laptop and worked for a few seconds before it effectively rebooted itself / lost the connection to the laptop. This caused the laptop to lose its power source so the external screen went off, and the external hard drive got ejected abruptly. This repeated around 10 times in 5 minutes at which point I decided I wasn't going to keep it and submitted a return. No point having something faulty that might drop the hard drive during a critical operation.At the time of use I only had one hard drive plus the external power plugged into it

Bought this in January 2023 and now it’s Oct 1 2034 - it just stopped working. Doesn’t allow the charge anymore so only works to connect to another monitor but not for the power. Always good to wait a bit to give reviews on these electronics.

It works fine but it would have been better if the connector to the computer was attached to the opposite way of the main frame as this would prevent a kink in the cable

I returned item. Lead was too long. Bought a direct plugin version instead.
