Your feet WILL peel - it's a good thing
I am very pleased with my purchase of this foot mask. As a corporate trainer, I am on my feet most of the day and when I am not at work, I prefer to be barefoot. This means that I have many calluses on the bottom of my feet and they’re extremely dry. (Living in the high desert doesn’t help either).I’ve used an exfoliating foot mask before and had great results, so I thought I’d give this a try because it was less expensive than Baby Foot Exfoliant Foot Peel Lavender Scent 2.4 Fl OZ (70mL) - Pack of 2. and a little more expensive than one I found in my local drugstore. Like those other brands, this is supposed to make you’re your feet peel like crazy and leave you with super soft feet – baby soft. Unlike those other brands, this one smells amazing!Prior to “cooking my feet in the juices” as my husband stated, I soaked them in warm water for about 20 minutes to soften the skin and open the pores. Then, after drying my feet I put them in the plastic booties with the mask ingredients. This foot mask smells really good! It is a light refreshing citrus scent. The instructions stated that for the best experience to tape them to your leg with the enclosed pieces of tape and to put a pair of socks on over the bags. So, I did just that. The manufacturer suggests keeping your feet in the mask for 90-120 minutes, so plan on relaxing for a few hours. We played Dr. Who Level Pack - Lego Dimensions to pass the time and after two hours, I took my feet out of the mask and washed them off. I warn you now: if you have a microfiber or cloth couch/chair, do not recline in them with these on your feet. The mask contains shea butter and if it leaks out of the bag or through your socks, it will stain your furniture.Again, referring back to what the instructions suggest, I soaked my feet for at least 10 minutes for several days during the week, wore socks with my shoes, and waited for my peel to begin. My toes were the first to begin peeling 4 days later and finally the bottom of my feet began to peel after 6 days. They didn’t peel as badly as they did the first time I used a foot mask, but this product definitely did what it was supposed to do! I am sure I would have had more peel if this wasn't the 3rd time I've used an exfoliating foot mask since April.I look forward to using the second pair of booties in about 6 weeks to continue the battle that I have against calluses and dry skin on my feet!

Not what I expected, but still did the job
So...I’m going to spare you the nasty foot pictures, but...I was skeptical at first, and in the end, it did not make my feet feel like baby feet, BUT I have rough feet for starters.I wear boots for my job, station boots, and big clunky turnout boots. My feet have very well developed jagged callouses, sometimes they cause blisters too. With that said, I received the item and followed the instructions. It took 7 days before my feet started peeling.Once it did, it peeled for a little over a week, and while my feet aren’t baby soft. They’re smooth and no longer rough. It really just sloughed off a layer of callouses. It was nice instead of manually filing my foot, I can say that! While I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get baby soft feet, I guess most people don’t have tons of callouses on their feet when they use this.Your feet will probably end up baby soft. :) I still enjoyed it though.

Do We Really Need To Remove Huge Gobs of Skin From Our Feet?
It was only after the skin started peeling off of my feet that I started to wonder if it was a necessary thing to do. It's one thing to remove calluses, but skin? For what?Yes, this product works. After wearing this product on my feet for a few hours, my feet were so soft - I wish they could have stayed that way. The fragrance was nice and overall, I found the experience to be pleasant. 5 days after I did the soak, the skin started peeling off the bottoms of my feet. At first it was pretty neat, a callus I have had for years was coming off, and that was a good thing, right? So enthused by the peeling skin, I soaked my feet in water water that was enriched with high quality body oil. Yes, the skin peeled off even further. Then my feet began to hurt. I lathered my feet in lotion, put on socks, and went to bed. Both feet were still peeling, and burning.Today my feet are still peeling, but hurt less. They do not look very good at all, with edges of skin showing and intact. The callused area that had previously sloughed off is beginning to look like its old self again. I am now wondering, why did I even do this? FYI: The skin that comes off your heels is very thick. Losing it made my feet sore. That can't be good. People that already have foot problems, or worse - diabetes or neuropathy, had better use products like this with caution. I'm not sure we need to exfoliate the bottoms of our feet.

Nice
This product was easy to use. I soaked my feet for about 30 minutes first, dried them, and then inserted my feet into the pouches. My feet were pretty rough from the start so I kept it on for almost 2 hours, I was afraid it wouldn't soak in lol. I also but some good socks on while the pouches were on my feet for good insulation. After my time was up, I removed the pouches and washed my feet with soap and water. Then began the wait to see if anything would happen. After 6 days of waiting, something finally began to shake. It was just a bubble between my pinky toe, but hey it was something. I decided to leave it alone to see if it would increase. After my shower the next day, oh did the bubble increase. I went ahead and peeled that off and thus began the peeling process. My skin sloughed off heavily in the beginning then little piece for the next week.My feet are finally smooth and soft! I will not hesitate next time to apply the second pouch once my feet start to feel rough. It works!
