OEM is best! Get this!
OEM is best. Lost my power supply for Roland FA06, and this worked perfectly. Always recommend OEM so you don’t fry anything inside the board.

Works flawlessly for Roland TD-27
Works perfectly as a replacement for my Roland TD-27. I messed around and accidentally let my original power cable somehow sneak underneath my kick pedal, yeah I stomped it in half overtime. Luckily these are cheap to replace and I have since organized my cords better to prevent that from happening again.

Works well with my Roland keyboard
I felt more comfortable going with a Roland branded product for my Roland keyboard despite the slightly increased price

No more "Low battery" warning when not using batteries!
You read that title right. I've been troubleshooting a problem with my Roland AX-Edge for the past several months where, randomly, it would start telling me the battery was about to die and then power off, despite not having batteries in the compartment. My Edge is out of warranty, and I couldn't afford to take it to a tech only to have them tell me the whole internal logic board needed replacing (the usual answer, from my research, so I figured, I'll try a new power supply first and see if that's the problem - and it was. So happy to not have to constantly swap batteries every 2-3 hours when I have an outlet handy. I know people complain about them being overpriced, but it's not as bad as it used to be. I have an old GK synth that requires an $80 proprietary cable, and it's just a proprietary MIDI transfer cable, nothing special about it. So, $40 to get a PSB that has a Roland warranty is worth it.

Worth the Peace of Mind
Excellent quality, as expected from Roland. There are some products I'm willing to compromise on, but the power going into my expensive equipment is not one of them. That's why I only use authentic PSB-120s on all my Roland products. As a result, I have about ten of these things. That's a healthy investment, for sure, but the peace of mind is worth the expense. I've only ever had one problem with these, and that was a cable wearing out through heavy use. I was able to repair it and still use the unit today. The cable length is generous, the connectors are sturdy, and the electronics are dependable. All that said, they are rather pricey, so that's why they only get four stars. Otherwise, perfect.
