NATURE'S GIFT - FOR THOSE WHO CARE'S Roasted Chicory Root Powder, 1 kg

I have never bought chicory before so I cannot comment on its authenticity but its satisfactory for me 1. Taste - Really strong. For a glass of 450 ml of coffee, you need no more than a pinch (1/6th teaspoon of chicory) to make the coffee taste much stronger and bitter (esp. since 100% coffee powder does not have a really strong flavor) 2. Consistency - The chicory is extra fine grounded powder (dust like consistency) 3. Comes in a air sealable bag which is nice since I bought a 1 kg bag. If you are buying chicory for the first time, go for no more than 500g. It should last for upto a year if you take coffee twice a day. Fun facts: Chicory powder releases about twice the amount of concentrate per g in comparison to coffee from coffee grounds. So dont use the same quotient mix as you do coffee else you would get a drink so bitter you wont be able to drink it (like eating a neem leaf mix raw) Very much worth the price. Only wish I could get a medium coarse ground consistency to go with my coffee grounds since I use a french press (doesnt really matter anyway since you wont feel this chicory dust affect your otherwise clean liquid coffee concoction) Rating 5/5

Several health benefits and product is good and clear to use but it's taste is little bit like Ayurvedic medicines.

It's basically coffee without caffeine coffee.. Whoever wants this for to add in smoothie recipe just use coffee once then order and try this same taste without caffeine
