Lightly sweet, delicious. It is very dry so gives the mouth a workout for sure. Be super carful if you use a retainer or dentures as this might be hard enough to crack or break your expensive inserts. Aside that this it is delicious and both my husband and I enjoy these. There are 15 of these inside and about a pound and a half in weight. Perfectly delicious jerky.

This has been my go to jerky for several years, it’s so addicting. It is the best I’ve ever had.

New review: 12.17.2024Misleading product description, says big slab 15 count up top, but only can select the 3 ounce bag!!!!This is HORRIBLE business practice whomever is doing this! You are now selling a 3 ounce bag of jerky for 40 bucks now! Get out of here with that nonsense. The People's Choice own website sells the 3 ounce bag for only 7 bucks! Also I have bought the 15 big slab bags MANY times on here and those bags are almost 1.5 pounds NOT 3 ounces, but my purchase history says I purchased 5, 3 ounce bags. LIES! I never bought the 3 ounce bags, so why did my purchase history change to that instead of the big slab bags which are advertised as approximately 1.5 pounds when shipped?!? Something real messed up is going on in this listing as of 12.17.2024.... 3 ounces for 40 bucks when they are 7 bucks on the business website is straight up robbery. Post this review edit or don't I don't care. THIS is why I dont buy on Amazon anymore or have Prime anymore. The lies on here are so disrespectful. LAME.New review:i'll make this quick as possible to help those who love this product like I did. There is a difference now then from a few years ago. The slabs are much smaller and sliced super thin on some of them. Also quit a few of my slabs out of the total 4 bags I bought (2 spicy, 1 yaki, 1 original) smelled foul and to be honest rotten. I did not eat these as the jerky on these were very dry and hard as heck and I figured they may damaged my teeth on them. The packaging is also different than before and looks more shelf marketable than before for maybe like a costco rack or some bulk retailer with SKUS and barcodes.Also don't expect 1.5 lbs per bag when you get them. I bought 4 bags and they amounted to 4.5 lbs when 4 bags at 1.5 lbs should be close to 6 lbs total. The rep did explain to me that that is a requirement in order to ship within the amazon network. They must provide a shipping weight to the system. The rep said the real bag count is the 15 slab count not any weight. So be aware, the slabs are sliced thinner and smaller in size and thus the bag weight on all 4 bags was under. I was short by 1 bag out of 4 basically.I do think the jerky is good still but not nearly as before. I will not be purchasing these products anymore as I feel the quality and quantity has suffered too much as the price continues to go up. I appreciate family businesses and their hard work. I ate the whole pack in about a week!I just ordered another spicy, and the yaki and the classic to round out the collection! I love gas station jerky that hands haven't been all over! My favorite jerky! Old school thin and dry, mildly spicy but also sweet and flavorful

My family loves this beef jerky. It is thin cut and has great flavor. The teriyaki flavor isn’t too sweet. It is great for road trips or just for a snack.I have a family of boys that are always on the go.

I am very particular about jerky. I want a very thin, dry, chewy because of how dry it is piece of meat. This almost meets that standard but gave me a new thing to check for in the future.This jerky is very thin. However, it is sticky and sweet. This makes it not quite so dry.I ordered the original flavor, not a sweet flavor. The first ingredient in the meat seasoning section is sugar and it shows. Also for 1 oz this product has 9 carbs, no fiber, and 9 grams of sugar. All of the carbs are from sure and you can taste and feel it in the pieces of meat. I have another company’s jerky at my house and it has 2 carbs, 1 dietary fiber, and 1 g of sugar for 1 oz of product. If you using this as a part of a snack for someone who is diabetic or is on a low carb diet, then steer clear. Also if you like your jerky more savory than sweet, then this is not the jerky for you.

Very tasteful, slightly sweet, slightly spicy and delightfuly amazing Jerky.I miss Old fashioned on Amazon, but it's ok.

One of my favorite buys when it comes to jerky. Great big slab of meat. Great for on the road snacks. Flavor was so good. About to order another 15 Slab pack in another flavor.
