As others complained, it is tight to get the fuses in. As the song says "You need a little patience" Take your time and just put one side in a little first and switch sides one going back and forth one at a time and do it gently. It takes a minute but it will go in just fine. I'd rather it be nice and tight than just fall out, wouldn't you?If you're really impatient you could just jam a small flat screwdriver in it. If you do that, you'll probably open it up too much or slip and poke your hand with the screwdriver, not fun right? Just take your time and all will be fine.You'll know when it's in all the way because the cover won't snap on if it's sticking out too far, plus the fuse won't be flush. Not to mention your circuit probably won't work or will intermittently. Plus, I don't care if they are made in China, the north pole or Mars, this is a quality productLastly, to rebut other reviews.....I've been dealing with wiring for nearly 40 years, commercial electric, automotive and telecommunications, these ARE every bit of 10 gauge wire, not 12, not 14 and certainly not 8 but 10 gauge wire. Strip the sheath and stick it in a wire thickness gauge and you'll see, nice and tight fit for 10 gauge wire as it is advertised to be. You could easily throw 30 amps through these no problem as promised. If the fuse keeps blowing then you're obviously trying to do more amperage or you have a fault on your circuit.

This works well enough but I had difficulty using my standard crimp terminals. The insulation jacket is so thick on these that you cannot crimp standard connectors and get anything more than just the wire in it. For physical connection strength, the tail end of the connector is supposed to crimp the insulation so that the physical stresses aren't on the electrical contact point, but there's no way to do that with such a frankly needlessly-thick insulation. Maybe this looks pretty for the 16-year-old ricer kid's engine bay but I need function over looks. Not bad for the price, but after seeing how they're made, it's tempting just to use regular spade terminals direct to ATO fuses.

Probably did not need a ten pack of fuse holders, but the per unit cost was so low I could not resist. These are a good option if you need an inline fuse holder for the standard blade type fuse. The fuse slots are really slide on terminals. Because they crimp the terminals onto the ends of the wire and then mold the plastic around the terminals, the terminals openings for the fuse blades are offset slightly (not in a straight line) because they use only left or right hand crimp terminals. That means the fuse has a little more side torque during insertion and removal. If I had my preference, they would be oriented the same way, but that would mean they would have to use left and right handed terminals, and that is probably asking too much for something so inexpensive.Wire size is at least AWG 12. Might be AWG 10, but I doubt it. Fit too easily into a yellow butt splice with a second AWG 16 wire, and those butt splices are for AWG 10-12 as I recall. Has a silicone insulation jacket which can be difficult to strip, but is effective at abrasion and water resistance, and insulating capability.Overall, satisfied with the purchase and would definitely purchase again if I ever use up this supply...
