Why, why, why don't we have these in the UK???
This is an excellent kit to fit to a basic set of aluminium crutches. Very quick and easy to apply and the bag is going to be very useful (for someone who otherwise always has to have a handbag with them) as it is large enough to hold the essentials such as purse, inhaler, cosmetics, mobile phone etc. (alternatively if you were on holiday it would easily hold a small camera and a bottle of water).Obviously there would be a weight limit as to how much the bag would hold but with a bottle of water and other items in it I found that it did not upset the balance of the crutch and, in fact, I did not even notice that it was there. All in all I can thoroughly recommend this set and am delighted with the way it has made a pretty ugly pair of crutches (which were some I never usually used and only had as spares) look a lot smarter.I only wish that all these fantastic "disability related" ideas were available in the UK (without being imported) - there are so many clever companies in the USA producing smart disability products - why, why, why can't someone in the UK do the same?I would just remind anyone ordering this from the UK that you will be charged import tax on it as well as a royal mail charge which will add approx £13.

Very, very helpful, but comes with a price
I have been on crutches for 12 weeks with a broken ankle. It has been very difficult for an active person like me.The pocket has been great. I have trouble carrying anything while I am using crutches (I also have a tough time putting things in my pockets because I bang into them with my hands while walking), and having a place to put keys, cell phone, wallet and drink cups has been fantastic. One thing of note: The pocket, especially when loaded with a lot of stuff, can get very heavy. I originally had the pocket on my right crutch and when I got a heavier cast (also on the right side), noticed my right arm and shoulder getting sore. I switched the pocket to the left side, and the problem has since disappeared. The pads also have been helpful. I tried using cycling gloves, but I found because I put all of the weight on my hands and I like to take long strides and hobble fast, it wasn't enough. The hand grip covers plus the cycling gloves allow me to trek a long way without getting sore hands. The price point is a little on the high side for a couple of pieces of fabric and a couple of foam pads, but if you are going to be on crutches for a significant period of time, I highly recommend the investment.

You wouldn't want crutches without them!
I don't know who these people are claiming that the crutcheze product was anything but ideal for a person wants to be active and attractive while recovering on crutches. The arm pads and hand grips provided me with much needed comfort. For people who need even more padding the company offers additional foam pads that can be added and my experience with their customer service representatives was great! Additionally, the pocket/bag made it extremely convenient to carry any number of items that I otherwise may not have been able to. And, because the standard crutches look so industrial and the hand grips can get dirty and worn, the covers and bag made the crutches more attractive, which was important to me for feeling comfortable in my professional work environment. In fact, with the addition of a little gold ribbon, the crutcheze pads even made me feel comfortable being the bridesmaid in my friend's wedding! God help me if I ever need crutches again but, if I do, I would never have them without also having my crutcheze pads, handgrips, and bag.

Comfortable grips and handy bag.
I got these for my husband after he started to develop blisters after a week on crutches. These were great on his hands, and the bag was handy for this keys, coffee mug, phone, water bottle or a number of smaller items. The padding under the armpits was a little stiffer and sit kind of high, so you'll need to adjust the crutches to make room. The material is black and kind of shiny so it did not get stained or dirty and it held up well for the 3 months we needed them for.

I purchased these for my husband who has had previous experiences crutches. The bag is very handy for phone, water bottle, coffee mug, notes, etc. The pads are comfortable. The black color does not wear onto your clothing and is very sleek looking. Product is pricey, but worth the ease.

Great Product!
One of the wisest utilitarian purchases I made to aide me while recovering from ankle surgery. I had to adjust the crutches height, to allow for the ample padding. I conveniently carry a small wallet in the pouch instead of a purse. I highly recommend this product--its well made.

If your On Crutches you gotta have these
These take a little bit of the suck out of being stuck using crutches. Your palms and armpits wont completely stop aching, but its definitely worth the dough to put these puppies on your rig. The beer/coffee holder pouch will also come in handy in both utility and comedy.
