Prima Marketing 991654 Memory Hardware Album: Gatefold Large, Journal

Had so much fun creating this book.

This album is great for making custom mini albums. The spine is approximately 3 inches so there plenty of room for embellishments. An added benefit is that the album seems to be sturdier than the typical homemade album. I like decorating pocket pages more than I like making the albums so this is perfect for me- especially when I'm under a time crunch. I would also mention that the pages are bound in such a way that they crisscross as you leaf through. I will be using more of these Prima albums and in the different sizes because I like them so much.

I love the Prima Marketing mini albums especially when Frank Garcia is the designer. Sadly this one had to be returned...the pages were wrinkled and worn. The cover showed wear & tear. Even the packaging it came in appeared worn and dirty. This item may have been returned once before the way it had presented.

Good size album.

I was not impressed with the inside pages. They don't seem to be all that sturdy to me and it was hard to paint them.

This Prima Album is very sturdy. I painted the edges with acrylic paint, there was not warping of the pages. I placed a resin-based frame on the first inner page, I don’t recommend doing that...because it was too much weight and made the first page sag a little. Overall, I love this album.

Love this mini album. Plenty of pages for pictures and room to add embellishments. Very well made and sturdy. Comes plain but able to withstand paint if you wish to add color
