When my front derailleur cable snapped at the handlebars I thought I was in for a disaster trying to fix it. I was impressed how easy it was to get the cable attached at the lever and thread it through the existing cable guides and find its way through the frame of the bike to magically pop out near the bottom bracket. I think the factory installed protector at the end of the cable made it slide through easily without snagging. Once through the derailleur and tightened down, I cut off the excess, and back to riding the bike. I did take the opportunity to clean and lubricate the derailleur and lever system just to take the pressure off the cable. Should have done that way earlier. Much easier to shift ever since.

It's a nice cable, I ordered it for my brother, I didn't expect him not to know how to use it. It is not the cable and sleeve it is just the inner cable that goes in the sleeve, so for anyone struggling you slide it through the sleeve. Very nice price for the cable.
