Vial is sold separately / Ingredients: Solution A-Sodium hypochlorite, Solution B-Potassium bromide / Directions: 1. Set clean contact lenses in the contact lens holder, and pour both Solution A and B into the progent vial (sold separately). Please be careful not to spill the solutions when opening, by opening them slowly. 2. Set the contact lens holder onto the progent vial (with the contact lenses in place). Lightly shake the vial 2, 3 times and leave for 30 mins. Please make sure that the vial is closed tightly. 3. Take the contact lens holder out of the vial after 30 mins, and rinse well with water. Please do not take the lenses out of the holder when rinsing, and make sure that the sink is plugged. 4. This product removes protein buildup quickly and effectively.
I wear have worn gas permeable contacts for many years. The solutions I liked were discontinued. I tried several other products/brands before purchasing Menicon Progent. This product works better than anything that I have ever tried for removing protein buildup. My lenses also feel more comfortable. As for the questions on packaging, my package contained 14 vials - enough for 7 cleanings as you mix two solutions together at the time of use. The package does not contain a contact lens case. The first time I purchased this product, I purchased a single use version which came with a case. The case has holders for the lenses so that they don't sink to the bottom of the case as happens with my everyday case. The instructions were in Japanese but that was not an issue for me as I have already used the product.

Best Protein Remover on the Planet!
This is by far the best protein remover on the market. I wear multifocal RGPs, and it's not possible to have the lenses professionally polished because it would "rub out" the prescription. After soaking my lenses in this solution for 30 minutes, my lenses came out 100% clear. I tried Boston enzymatic remover, and it didn't remove all of the deposits. The difference between this set (from Japan) and the American version is that the Japanese version doesn't come with saline solution (used to rinse the lenses). However, it's worth saving $20 per box. Saline solution is cheap.

Works as intended for Scleral lenses.
I've been using this product for years now to remove the proteins on my sclerals with no problems. Just make sure to purchase the case on the Menicon website beforehand. The product is written in Japanese but you can easily search it up on Youtube if you are feeling unsure how to use it.

Cheaper, but careful with the rinsing step
This is the same effective enzymatic cleaner available on the Menicon USA site but targeted to the Japanese market. The lens holder and the saline rinse are not included. The instructions are to rinse the lenses in tap water after a 30 minute soak in the combined A and B cleaning solution. Be sure to follow up with a soak in your regular disinfecting solution since there’s a small chance that tap water contains bacteria or viruses not good for your eye. Buy the US kit first to get familiar with the process (and to get the lens vial), then pick up this for the savings, as long as that lasts.

Less than satisfied because the right and left eye compartments are not ...
Have not been able to use. Amazon does not sell the rinse solution. The rinse solution is necessary to remove the solution left on by the cleaners.menicon America sells the rinse in a box of 94 vials. I have not called them. Also I purchased the cleaning vials from you. Less than satisfied because the right and left eye compartments are not encoded. You have a horseshoe clip that you have to fit the lense into. Not ideal because there is no way to tell the contacts apart if they became dislodged.

If you aren't totally comfortable using it make sure you access the Menicon USA ...
As this product is printed entirely in Japanese, please be sure you are familiar with how to use it. I've seen some snarky reviews concerning this point. If you aren't totally comfortable using it make sure you access the Menicon USA website. When the two vials are mixed it basically forms a type of bleach that oxidises the protein deposits. This product is really sold as an in-office treatment in the US so be careful. The minor inconvenience of the packaging is more than made up by the less than 50% cost versus the US version. Also note you will need the special vial which is not included in this package.

RGB lense cleaner
Love it. I use these often for my RGPs. I have keratoconus and prefer this to the american version. (both from same company).
