Authentic Mexican Falsa Blanket (Teal Green)

This is the Mexican blanket I was looking for. The blanket I bought about 20 years ago is still usable, but it's about time I want a new one, and last time I bought one from a different company on Amazon, it was very thin, and the acrylic fabric didn't feel warm, and when I opened the package, the threads were already fraying. There is a hole in it and it will be returned immediately. I wanted something similar to what I bought a long time ago, so I looked for it. This is the closest, the fabric is cotton, and the heat is just right.I'm very happy. it's recommended!

It has some pretty gold flecks in the blanket. I am very happy with this blanket.

Before we even took the blanket out of the plastic, we could see that the blanket had some imperfections/pulls. Otherwise its good.

I love these but my feelings are mixed about the Canyon Creek Authentic Mexican Yoga Falsa Blanket (Coral,) of which I bought four. They perfectly suit my needs as throw covers for my outdoor furniture but they’re quite rough to be used as a blanket. That said, I’m planning to buy 4 more to take down to the beach to wrap around us for bonfires this fall. They’ll be great beach and picnic blankets too. I like using them as party table cloths as well, especially when serving Mexican food. I’ve found so many uses for Mexican blankets like these for years from a hodge podge collection of colors. These are so well priced that I can finally buy the coordinating colors I want and not spend a lot. The down sides are these blankets wouldn’t provide any cushion for yoga, they’re kind of scratchy and bumpy. They are long and narrow, NOT all cotton: 60% acrylic and 40% cotton. And they will need to be hand washed to take care that the side seams don’t unravel and the tassels don’t knot up. I can see myself hanging these over my fence after pollen season and rinsing them off, then letting them air dry in place to reuse again. All said, GREAT for lots of purposes.

While the price was excellent, the product wasn't the thickness needed for a yoga pad. I might buy an other and fold them together to create what I was looking for...

Love the colors. Looks just like the picture. The blanket is a great size and perfect thickness.

Love the variety of colors, 100% cotton, the weight is nice as well, not flimsy and not stiff & heavy.

Description says cotton on website. When you receive the blanket the label reads 60% Acrylic , 40% cotton.

Had a lot of trash woven in with it what looked like bits of fishing line and bits of Christmas tinsel. Weave is quite loose compared to others I own.You can by these of similar quality locally for about $20.00.
