This was a waste of money. Nothing even sprouted. I will get my peanuts somewhere else next time.

Low germination rate for me
Out of approximately 12 nuts only 2 germinated and made it to the garden. My situation is nothing to go off of because I need to really buy a few more bags of this to find out, and because I started them in a cold dark basement in a cold hardiness zone of 4. The writing on the back is the most conversational and pedantic thing I have ever read on the back of a seed envelope! lol which makes it immensely better than the vagueness of most seed packaging.

Was worried but they turned out perfect.
So I plant only indoors and assumed I would just throw them into the pot and they would be fine. But just incase I started with 5.My first set was too wet too long and rotted from the inside out. It was absolutely nasty so I was going to leave a negative review but I went over things again and decided to try with 5 more of them. This second run worked perfectly. Within 14 days they germinated and now I have big plants that are getting ready to move into their final container (back issues so I can't get down on the ground).Tips:These are viable. I kept getting things saying if they weren't in the shell they weren't viable, but these where all out of shell and the ones I did correctly all came up.Don't get too moist/wet. My first set rotted from being in standing water, folloe the directions to the letter.Put in large containers once germinated. These roots where massive with the first sucker leaves. 5 to 10 times the size of the nut and leaves itself, lost one to transplant after I busted the tap root.Move quickly, I waited too long on one of the germinated plants and lost it.Lots of light, too much water. I ended up with 4 plants so I gave one to my mother and she absolutely rotted the entire root system from way too much water and not enough light. Direct light seems to be working really well with these ones.Enjoy planting ~

They require a long growing season
Disliked that most of the seeds were broken and rest did not germinate do nothing to return when put in a claim. No compensation.

Lack of germination
Most came broken and only one started to germinate. I started all seeds indoors one heat mat. One peanut started to germinate and begin to stick out of soil last week. It is still in the same growth stage a week later. Do not recommend.

Poor germination
The germination rate was pretty bad. I have one plant out of the entire packet. The planting depth was correct and the soil temp was 68 degrees.
