Works fairly well, but not perfect
I have a lot of cables to route around my desk. Cable management is a big deal. I looked at several options, and settled on this product. These clips use adhesive so there is no drilling into your furniture or walls or whatever the cables run along. A lot of clips are like this but it is still a good thing. They are able to tighten fairly small to grip small cables like you might have for a PC peripheral, but big enough to enclose thicker cables such as power, HDMI, and DisplayPort. Some of them do not stick well. This might be affected by the finish of whatever surface you use: in my case, I have a desk coated in oil-based polyurethane. Most of these clips stuck to it okay, but several refused to stick at all. Others would stick, then come loose later. I used some double-sided tape to fix it, which is still working well. Again, this might be different if your surfaces have a different finish such as paint, bare wood, or veneer. While they have a decent range of size cables they can work with, you will be hard-pressed to fit multiple cables inside them especially with one larger cable such as HDMI or CAT6. If you have a lot of thicker cables, this product is probably not for you. You will need something bigger and sturdier.Over all, I am happy with the product. While it is not perfect, it works fairly well. My only gripe is that some of them are unusable as-is due to poor adhesion and I needed to use double-sided tape. If you have a lot of cables or many thicker cables, you may be better off with a cable tray instead of clips. Or, use clips to complement a cable tray when smaller cables need to route places the tray does not go.

Have held up nicely
This is the second product I've bought to hold the dashcam wire in my car. So far, they have worked much better than my previous purchase. They're rather lightweight and small which makes them more inconspicuous in the car. They're simple to install and clamp over the wire rather securely. The clamps are of course made of plastic so I wouldn't attempt pulling on them too hard, but they keep the wire organized and haven't fallen off.

Didnt work for my Usage
Used in my Metal Top Gazebo to hold an electrical cord. Next day some of the hooks fell off. It may have been caused be the heat of the Sun.

Plenty of clips for a techy's entire desk
I use an electric desk, with two keyboards, two mice, a laptop, desktop, usb hub, headphones, external harddrive, and phone charger on top. Needless to say I have a lot of cords nearby. I found these clips via a recommendation on YouTube and wanted to try them out. For the price, you're getting a great value. The adhesion is solid despite my office temperature ranging from 40 degrees in the morning, to pushing above 80 degrees at the peak of the day. Given how many cables I have, I did have to use two clips in one spot to hold them all, as the openings are about a 1/4" in diameter. You can fit maybe two power cables, or four smaller cables like those from a mouse, keyboard, or ethernet cable. This isn't absolutely ideal, but you can hide away the clips so the extras don't matter (and there are plenty in the bag). Plus, this means that your clips will last longer as you haven't bent the plastic by overfilling them, and cables are easier to change later.I didn't want a cable track on the back of my desk as I like mine right up against the wall, and I wanted more flexibility in my mounting options. For example, I mounting one on the back of my monitor to guide the HDMI and power cables behind the stand, and now I no longer see them hanging down underneath the gap between the bottom of the screen and the desk.I'd recommend these. For a quick and affordable fix, these work well.

Follow the Instructions, working exactly as needed and expected
When I first opened the package, I was a bit alarmed that I too had received old stock, with the 2015 email slip. Maybe it’s just the email.I tried applying the first couple clips and they didn’t hold the surge protector cable I needed to guide. I checked and found most recent orders were not working out for others, but also found the instructions and decided to give them a try. I applied them to a wooden desk, the back of a monitor (plastic) and on a monitor mount (metal).First, peel the pad film off and then apply the adhesive pad.Hold firmly for ~30 seconds, or once you see and feel the pad depress and flatten out.Second, leave the pad alone for a few hours, or preferably a day, especially in hotter and more humid climates.I found them to be strong and held to surfaces after about half an hour of curing. So give that a shot before complaining or returning. Even if the adhesive pad is a bit older, if you follow the instructions, you’ll likely be pleased with the results.I needed to remove one and used a somewhat high end blow dryer to heat the adhesive pad. The pad separated from the clip and came off the metal surface as well. There was a small amount of residue that came off with Isopropyl alcohol.4 stars, just to knock the questionable quality, but I’ll give a 5 to offset some of the reviews that seemed to ignore the instructions.

Wiring clip
I should have ordered 1/2” not 3/8ths, they’re easy to install, no screws, just peel and stick!
