Delicious
This is my first experience with a sriracha sauce. I never had the rooster brand so unfortunately I cannot comment on similarities and differences. We all have different taste buds, so what tastes good to me may not to you etc. Having said all that, this sauce is amazing. From a health standpoint, it has no MSG no added chemicals and no preservatives. It has an awesome taste that takes a couple of seconds to fully hit you and I personally find it plenty hot. The top of the bottle opens up easily and the bottle can be squeezed (plastic not glass) which helps with pouring this on your favorite dish. Overall I like this sauce very much, and will buy again (in the bigger bottle at Costco =) ).

It is delicious!
Our usual sauce, Huy Fong had some kind of difficulty and we couldn't find it anywhere. We NEED our hot sauce, so I ordered this brand to try. It got high ratings and a chef I know suggested it. It is delicious!!! Definitely a different profile of flavors than the Huy Fong, more spicy, less vinegar, and more seasoning. I'm hooked on Sky Valley!

It has heat but doesn't set you on fire.
I use this in lots of foods both as a flavor agent mixed into ingredients and as a finishing splash. It is a good way to kick up the spice factor without over-powering everything else. (Chef John has Cayenne, I have this.)

Hot Sauce, ok.
Tastes ok. Similar to Hoy Fung sauce, maybe not as good. The heat level, to me, is a bit hotter than Hoy Fung. I eat a lot of hot foods, regularly consume both green chile and red chile and have had ghost peppers several times. This is just as hot as any ghost pepper sauce I've had. There is nothing "smokey" about it, it is probably a bit more garlicky than the Hoy Fung brand, and not as sweet. Cap is cheesy/cheap and mine came with a broken cap. Update: Seems like they've changed their recipe since my initial review from several years ago. In 2023, the sauce is not quite as hot as it was and is more sweet. I could swear that they used habanero peppers before. Now they are using jalapeno pepper. Jalapenos are not as hot as habaneros and they have more flavor than habaneros. So, I see this change as a positive. I could be wrong, but if I am, then I must have gotten a bottle from the bottom of the barrel the first time. Cus I threw that bottle away. It was just too hot. This, however, is palatable, and is pretty darn good!

Sky Valley Organicville Sriracha WARNING very addictive
I could not stop using Sky Valley Organicville Sriracha since the first time I used it. A friend that was staying at my house put a bottle of it in the cupboard. I asked if I could try it and he told me he bought it for his girlfriend. I ended up sneaking it out of the cupboard to try on some chicken fingers. I never put it back in the cupboard and ended up using it all. I tried it on everything. I used it on everything even tried it on a salad, :) and it was very good. When I went looking to replace the bottle I used, I found it on Amazon but they only had 2 bottles left. I bought them both. I replaced the one I borrowed from the cupboard and started using the other one and finished it in a day or two. I went back to Amazon looking to purchase some more Sriracha. Amazon was out of the Sky Valley brand so I found and purchased 6 bottles from 2 different vendors 3 bottles from one and 3 from the other. I don't remember the names of the brands because I never finished a bottle of either. They were ok but not near the addictive quality of the Sky Valley.

Love the Flavor!
I was super impressed with the flavor of this sriracha sauce! Very clean ingredients and no artificial stuff. My husband who loves hot sauces was very impressed with this brand.

The best brand of Sriracha sauce ever !
I have bought and enjoyed several brands of Sriracha sauce and this is by far the best blend of hot sauce I have found. It has a faint sweetness to the great flavor of chilies and garlic. I find myself tasting a spot of this Sriracha on my finger all by itself from time to time just to enjoy it's flavor and spicy'ness.

Tastes good but isn't siracha.
It tastes good but it isn't siracha. If you are getting this to eat with sushi, it isn't suitable in my opinion. It tastes like a thick and garlicky Louisiana style hot sauce. While this isn't a bad thing, it isn't what I'd consider siracha. It would likely be pretty great on chicken wings as it's thick enough to use as a saucd. I'll use it but not on sushi which is what my siracha goes for usually. I'd not use it in Asian cooking. The heat level was appropriate and the thickness was right on. If it wasn't labeled siracha, I'd give it a higher flavor rating. It is like getting a good jar of pineapple jelly when you ordered marmalade. It might be great pineapple jelly but it isn't marmalade. That being said, I might order it again.
