Use OEM, caution removing old one, if you break it...
This OEM part at a great price, was a perfect fit. After 140k miles mine was clogged and needed a change. My job took 10 minutes, but Caution removing the old one, twist it before prying out, some people report breaking the old one off while trying to remove it. FYI, Use a 7/16 tap to remove the shank, if you break it off. Put a drop of clean oil on the rubber o-ring before installing the new one, and make sure it seats properly.

Replaced PCV Valve on 06 Accord 3.0l V6
Good price & swapping it was a breeze. Glad I bought this because it was definitely time for a replacement.

Original Honda Part, High Quality
This part is OEM, and it came in original packaging. After installation I noticed improved performance at idle. Before the engine would be sluggish before it would idle more stable. I recommend replacing every two years. It's an inexpensive part and can cause so many performance issues when it starts to fail.

Be EXTREMELY Careful
I always do my own vehicle maintenance and I have a small fleet. My 2012 Pilot was due for a replacemen PCV valve. There was nothing wrong with my current PCV valve and there were no error codes. I was just doing some preventative maintenance on a 11 yr old car. I cleared the space and removed some extra parts that were in my way. I wanted to take my time and not break the old one. Twist and carefully work it out. Apply a little pressure and twist and work it out. Then...it broke. Exactly what I was trying to prevent. A couple of lag screws later, small picks and some tiny needle nose, I had the old shattered PCV valve out. My old PCV valve had shattered into multiple chunks. I even used a scope to see if I had anything left in there. Once my mess was all cleaned up, I installed this new one.The new one was easy to install and worked great.Moral is don't do this unless you are ready for a not so pleasant job.

BE Careful! Otherwise a great fit for my Pilot
Installing this on the 3.5L V6 went from what was supposed to be a 15 minute job to several hours. This OEM piece for great! The old one, though, was a disaster as many others have stated, please be careful once removing the old gunked up to one. It will break on you easily.I spent hours getting all the pieces out with a automotive pick. Anyway, successfully installed on my 2011 Pilot and resolved my oil burning issue. If you don't change this out, you can eventually over pressure your head gasket or VVT gasket on your VTEC solenoid which will cause a bad oil leak on these.

Perfect fit for 2007 Ridgeline
I had to do a routine maintenance on my 2007 Ridgeline and R&R (remove & replace) both valve cover gaskets, 10 grommets, and 6 spark plug tube seals. Since the PCV vavle is located on the front bank valve cover, I decided to replace this part too. The entire PCV valve R&R process took about 2 minutes since it was only being held in place by a small 10mm bolt head size. Removing the original PCV valve was effortless but it did require a tiny bit of persuasion for it to slide out. Before installing the new PCV valve, I rubbed some Shin-Etsu (which is a Honda Genuine Silicone Grease P/N 08798-9013) on the o-rings since the grease was within arms reach. That was it.Hope this helps.

Dont get scammed by the dealer
You can DIY this PCV replacement. The Honda dealers charge $120+ for replacing a PCV. You should do it at least every 100K miles but most people do it every 50K. it is on 10mm bolt behind the oil fill cap and under the wiring harness. it took me all of 5 mins to replace mine and you can do it with one wrench.
