I would like to drill a student on the 3 times table only. And not with a missing number. Just, for example, 3x4, 3x8, etc. Is this possible? How?

No. You only can do multiplication/division with a missing number. You can control the difficulty but not the specific numbers.

Does it for sure have an untimed feature?

Hello Cordelia....I don't understand your question. The Minute Math electronic flash card states that it has three skill levels. I am not sure how the item is played because it is sealed. It requires 3 AAA batteries & it is used to practice addition, subtraction,multiplication & division. I hope that this is helpful...Jen

What ages range is this for?

That would depend upon the child. For most it would be grades 1 to 4 or 5 since it has addition and subtraction and then multiplication and division. Early learners might do the addition before school and those with challenges learning could use it as extra practice at any age. . . Our 12 year old daughter with some learning issues is still enjoying it.
