TNP iPad Remote Control, Bluetooth Media Remote for iPhone with Trackpad

I was skeptical about this remote mainly because there is nothing else like this availible which is kinda weired but it really works well. The only real issue I have is that the thumb pad to move the curser need to be alot more sensitive. It deffenenly needs work but it does work. I mainly use it for watching youtube ect and it works fine. I got mine used for $20 which was fine with me but $40 for this thing is not really worth it unless its something you will really use everyday. I see that there is no alternative so if you need it then its worth the money. battery life was fi e and its rechargable. Size is fine. easy to use once you remember the buttons. speed is fine for the remote control. All in all i say it needs work on the track pad and the price needs to come down but it is a really cool thing to have.

At first I liked this remote. It worked really well with my son’s iPad. But after about a month, it wouldn’t work even after a full charge. I exchanged for another one. I’ve gotten about two months out of it, and it’s starting to do the same thing. Plus, the silver metal part slides down. Poor craftsmanship. I’ll go with a cheaper model.

Did a good job like a mouse supposed to do, I tried a couple finger remotes but they weren’t compatible. Very light and easy to use. Pairing was fast. Can even use trigger for camera . Usb C charging. Good choice even slightly expensive.

Okay so I’ve been looking for a remote for my iPad. I haven’t really found many for the iPad . This one was well priced for what I wanted it to do. I wanted to be able to lay down and just use the controller. It’s pretty cool. I actually bought a 45 dollar satechi remote but u have to move ur hand around and it feels like a laser.This remote connected easily with my iPad Pro 4th gen and I am on 14.6 on the updates . I don’t really like the pairing button because it’s kinda in there and I need something else to press it. But it’s better than u accidentally pressing it.It is a sliver color not a white at the bottom. The top is like a black matte plastic . The remote very light weight compared to my satechi one. Buttons are kinda loud . But nothing crazy .I would recommend it u just have to get a hang of the functions and how they work and they do send u instructions that are actually clear to understand. The touch pad actually is not bad at all. It works great and I’m actually surprised that it works so well .I was able to connect it to my computer and had no issues while using it on there too.Once I switch it on there is not much of a lag for it to connect . The Bluetooth does go a little far. Haven’t checked how far it is willing to go . It does come with a charger. And mine came charged . For 30 bucks not to bad for the functions it has and actually works .

Build quality is mediocre. Out of all the remote options, this is one of the few that advertised Android tablet compatibility. The touchpad is inconsistently responsive, all the general controls like volume control "work", but it's the app compatibility that is issue. Android tablet apps are designed for primarily touch only, such as Plex or Youtube. Shortkey buttons do not work and you will be switching between touchpad mode and remote button mode often. This isn't, as far as I can see, an issue with the remote. At least this remote functions as I have attempted to connect AndroidTV remotes to an android tablet with even worse results. Connected to devices without issuesOverall, if you want ease of use (maybe reducing having to go up to the tablet to control it 50% of the time) this will technically do the job. If your use case (like mine) is to use this as a media center replacement when you are travelling so you carry less tech... I honestly think you would get better value dragging along a Roku or ONN streaming box.

This connected great with my iPad, performed as expected.It’s sleek and looks nice but it feels very light and like it could break easily.The touchpad might begin to show wear easily.Functional yes, reliable yes but build quality falls short.

I bought this remote control for my iPad Pro and iPhone, and I'm very disappointed with it. The build quality is poor, and it feels very cheap in the hand. The buttons are also very loud, and they make a loud clicky noise when you press them. The trackpad is also very unresponsive, and it takes a lot of effort to get it to move anything around. I would not recommend this remote control to anyone.The remote control does not work well with all devices. I tried using it with my iPad Pro and iPhone, but it did not work well with either device. It feels very finicky and works inconsistently. Works ok with a laptop but at that point it'd better to buy one of those mini keyboards thanks this remote.Overall, I would not recommend this remote control to anyone.

I bought this item because I like to lie in bed and use my iPad. I will level with you. I am a lazy man. And recently I have resorted to using an iPad clamp stand to suspend my iPad in front of my face while I lie flat in bed. The problem is holding my arms upright to interact with the touch screen often leaves my arms tired or numb as the blood doesn’t circulate to my extended arms. Ouch! So I decided to give this product a try despite its high price and somewhat negative reviews. I have been pleasantly surprised as this item has performed great. The trackpad style clicker allows me to navigate Reddit and Twitter and YouTube without even lifting my arms. I just hold the clicker in my hand to one side and scroll and click away. Sadly I still have to lift my arms to type on the touch screen as I am doing now (ouch!). But perhaps combining this with a Bluetooth keyboard will provide the ultimate horizontal setup. The scroll function is a bit dodgy at times but it’s not so bad so I am still giving 5 stars.

We use this in a gym setting for instructors to control music during classes. It is AWESOME. It works from really far away (50+ feet), connection is always good, it always reconnects to the correct device when turned on, no hassles. We've tried others and they are terrible, have low range, bad connection, etc. The battery lasts reasonably well, but we always recharge when not using. The only gripe with this one is the housing doesn't stay on super well and if dropped it can fly off. We have the sliding base piece taped to the more fixed top piece so it doesn't fall apart. We used two of these for a year, several hours a day. The one that got a bit more use stopped working well after that; the other one is still going. We've purchased more! Thank you for this awesome product that actually does what we need it to do (control iphones playing spotify in nearby locations to each other)
