Great AC/DC fuel pump, Diesel AND Gas compatible
I bought 3 of these a couple of years ago, one for gas, one for diesel and one for water and they worked great. They can be used with Gas AND Diesel. Loved how you can use the AC plug (about 8'cord) or use the DC cord/alligator clips (about 8' cord) for connecting to the battery on the machine. The fuel hose is also around 8', does not auto shutoff but can be set it to "hands free" as long as your there to eyeball the fuel level. The hose is plastic but is actually pretty durable, I do take care NOT to kink it or pull on it real hard just to be safe. We've probably used around 200+ gal so far thru each one and worked fine (and probably twice that with the wife watering her plants.) I did have one die this summer. Not sure why but got another one to replace it. They MAY not fit some 5 gal cans, they fit a couple of mine but wouldn't fit the others. I now use them with 4-14 gal fuel tanks for (2) gas and (2) diesel. (and an extra one for the water) My original plan was to use one pump for gas and diesel but was afraid of getting too much diesel mix in the gas for the smaller tanks on push mowers, pressure washers, etc. but the pumps do drain really good when done but I got tired of bringing the tanks to the machine or pushing them to the shop to fuel so I just kept my 2 gallon can for those. I use the pump and larger tanks for the tractors, riding mowers, SxS, etc. Mines the old version tanks with the two brass shutoff's. You do have to lay the tanks down to use these pumps, the same way you fuel them. We are both retired and the wife can still wheel these around the shop and fuel the equipment. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MT94QA?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details

Works for us, elevate your gas container
I bought this at the beginning of summer for my dad for Father’s Day and we have used it throughout the summer without issue. We were so tired of holding up gas containers that were soooo slow thanks to the anti spill features. This thing fills up some a zero turn tank in less than 2 minutes with very little effort. We do have the container up on a shelf which i think helps tremendously. It has turned that corner of the outdoor shed into our little gas stations. We have used it for diesel a few times we just make sure all the gas has drained out of it before swapping it over. We use a small sla battery to power it and we rarely have to charge it, in fact i don’t think we have charged it this summer so it must not draw much current.

and using it 3 times) Following the directions to a T each time the forth attempted use the pump sounded like it was pumping but did not
I bought this pump expecting to use it for a long time. Considering its cost you would expect it to last a long time. It lasted three uses.(5 months time span from purchasing, receiving, and using it 3 times) Following the directions to a T each time the forth attempted use the pump sounded like it was pumping but did not. After taking the pump out of the fresh fuel can and examining it and not seeing anything physically wrong with the pump. I placed it back into the tank to attempt another pump. This time the pump simply did not turn on. Contacting the seller I was referred to the manufacture. The product has a year warranty but you must pay for return shipping. For me that is over the 4th of the way in on buying a new pump if I re-bought this one but I'm looking elsewhere as I've found battery powered ones similar to this one for much cheaper.. Also I have always been told that no place will accept returns for an item that has had fuel placed in it due to shipping companies seeing it as a hazard. Their explanation of why the pump stopped was "the motor may be wearing down." Not wanting to pay to return the it I decided to figure out what was wrong. After testing a few things I eventually found out that the power adapter was bad. Using a device I have that lets me set whatever voltage/amperage I desire I was able to successfully power the device up by setting it to what the output is supposed to be for the adapter. Contacting them again to simply ask for a power adapter was met that they do not carry any spare parts. You must ship the whole pump back or nothing at all. This to me honestly seems unacceptable in my eyes. In this day and age selling a device as much as they are and cannot simply keep spare parts on hand just seems outrageous. So I would keep that all in mind while looking to purchase this product. Mine was for the 120v plug in the wall one. Most of the good reviews here seem to be for the battery powered. To the ones who have leaks. If it is leaking from the black hose coming from the pump then you can simply use a small plastic wedge to gentle wedge around the plastic that holds the hose on and it will come off. Press the hose closer to the pump and then push the plastic piece back into place. If its coming from the nozzle side unhook the clamp and using a pair of pliers(maybe two) squeeze the spring so it bends a little to give a more tight grip. For people who have it coming out of the body. You must remove the bottom sticker and three screws. Using a plastic pick run it on the back side of the grey handle and it will pop open. Inside there is a little semi clear piece that plugs into a hole that goes all the way down to the motor that drives the pump. This plastic piece can be loose and it will leak fuel everywhere if it is not properly pressed in. Make sure there aren't any holes then press it in a little more and put the handle back together. It could also be where they seal the wiring through a rubber gasket but doubtful. Shouldn't have anymore leaks. For people who had the hose break you can hopefully find a plastic replacement from other sources and do the instructions above. To people wondering why I say how to fix all those problems? Well because there are people who wasted a lot of money and it appears the manufacture won't be helping unless you wish the pay a lot to send it back so hopefully I helped you solve some of the problems. I will say if your not confident in what your doing(or know what your doing to be honest) I wouldn't suggest the taking the handle apart. This is a device that has explosive fuel moving through it so if you mess up it may go boom. Anyways I make no claims that I know what I am talking about nor do I take responsibility if you do anything wrong. Just trying to help people.

This will save your back!
The TERA PUMP TREP03 Multi-Purpose Powered Liquid Transfer Pump / E85 Fuel Transfer Pump does a great job of moving fuel from the can to the tank. Simply plug it into an outlet and it's ready to go. The filter is a little too large for standard fuel cans, so you'll need a can with a larger opening, like the Stens No-Spill 1457 Diesel Fuel Can. I use a portable battery/power thing to pump fuel into my tractor. You can also plug it into any wall outlet or attach it to a car battery to power the pump. You can lock the trigger if you need to, but be careful to monitor the tank you're filling so you don't over fill. It pumps the fuel from a five gallon can in a matter of a few minutes (I haven't timed it). Plus, you don't need to lift the can because of the long pump hose. I think it's between 6-8 feet. If you're getting tired of picking up heavy fuel cans, consider getting this pump. It works great.

Very useful pump..
I purchased this pump in 2022, I've used it on the farm for the tractor, mower, 4 wheelers and now a sxs on forest trail. It's worked great, now it's 2024 and it finally gave up the ghost. 2 years of multiple equipment fills, so I just repurchased again,, hope it lasts another 2 years or longer.. pretty good pump as much as I used it.

Works great
I use this to fill up my vehicles from 5 gallons cans and believe me it is much easier than trying to lift and hold the can. The only negative/bad about it is, the nozzle will not fix into the newer vehicles with the capless systems. I have to use the special filler nozzle that came with the vehicles to fix into the gas filler neck then put the nozzle from the pump into the special filler nozzle. It is not that hard and again it is much easier than trying to hold the 5 gallon can up.

Moves gas fast.
I have transferred about 130 gallons of gas to and from the boat, the truck, the lawn mower, and the tractor since I bought it. It works great and is easy to use. I either use a battery backup, or the batteries on the vehicles. So far it has worked great. It pumps fast and is easy to handle. My only concern is the electrical plug-in is on the handle just above the various tanks. I plan to seal the plug in with a hard polyurethane flexible sealer and only use the DC cable plug-in.

Worked once, $20+ return warranty shipping, replacement last 6 months. Possible fix in review
Used it a couple of weeks ago and it worked great. Needed to use it yesterday, and the pump no longer runs. It worked once. My return shipping for the defective pump RMA will be $20 and they do not cover that, so you might want to add some return shipping costs into the price when considering if you want to purchase this unreliable pump. You will be shipping a box that is at least 3 lbs and 28" x 7" x 5" (minimum weight and dimensions) to zip code 92705. Update: After you spend another $20+ to send the broken pump back for a replacement, they don't have a replacement pump to send back to you! But they still have pumps to SELL on Amazon from the same seller and the new pump would arrive this week. So no replacement pumps, just new ones to sell? Buyer beware! Update 2: Now being told a replacement might be sent in October, which will be 2 months to get the replacement sent out to me, if they actually send one then. But they still have stock to sell on Amazon, even though there's none for warranty replacements. Update 3: The replacement did finally arrive. Believe it was after October. It worked for a while and died in April, so let's say it worked for 6 months and was used once or twice a month at most. I destructively disassembled this one to see what the problem was since I'm not spending another $20+ on shipping it back. I found that the little motor at the end of the wand lives in a white plastic housing. The housing has rubber grommets on both ends - one end for wires going to the motor, and the other for the impeller shaft. And the housing had fluid (gasoline) inside it with the electric motor. (There's also a fuse in the handle under the orange plastic cover, and a hidden screw under a sticker on the cover. My fuse was fine.) If you buy one, then if/when yours breaks, you might try removing the impeller, pulling the white plate and black rubber grommet off the bottom of the motor housing, and try to dry out the motor.
