Sax True Flow Heavy Bodied Acrylic Paint - 1/2 Gallon - Set of 6 - Assorted Colors

It’s heavy duty acrylic paint is by far the best paint I have ever bought! It doesn’t work really well for flow art because it has to be mixed down so much but it is a lot cheaper than buying cheaper paints and it is a bargain because it is thick!

The large bottle a lasts a very long time and as you can see I paint thick, making it a great for money. The paint itself is so thick I do not need a medium, when using it alone, AND often mix with other colors AS the medium. The color is true to name. For layering, It does cover exceptionally. I've used it in place of gesso to repaint over an old painting. As it is acrylic it does dry quickly, however there is more time when placing larger amounts on your palette.

Nice, THICK, heavy-pigmented paint. A little goes a lot longer than other brands and it's a great paint for beginners or more advanced artists. Great for mixing, although the intermediary colors from this brand (purple and green--i haven't tried orange yet) seem to be much led heavily pigmented and have a slightly different, less thick consistency.Great value for your money! I use these for painting events and everyone's paintings always turn out great!

If you're looking for a heavy body or just a good quality paint that wont break the bank then try sax out, especially if your new to the paint scene . I have found this paint and this brand to be great w all various painting techniques frm fluid painting to basic brush to canvas painting. I will also add that this paint does very well for itself on all types of surfaces. I would even go as far as saying that in my opinion this brand is comparable to Amsterdam. The only difference w Amsterdam paint and the Sax paint is the Amsterdam paint creates cells w just the Amsterdam paint and water. If you're doing fluid painting and your looking to have cells in your work w little effort then yes go w the Amsterdam paints.

Works well, I need to add water to thin it out. Good color though, very opaque.

I used this paint for a large 9'x18' desert mural canvas backdrop I painted. I was surprised at the quality for the price. of this paint. there was plenty of pigment and the paint was not runny or thin. I would use again.
