How to Sketch Landscapes: Beginner's Drawing Tip & Quick Landscape Sketching Exercises Paperback – July 9, 2016

I found this little book to be super helpful, specially the section that talks about setting myself up mentally to draw before even picking up paper and pencil.

Si ya sabes algo o si sabes dibujar , puede que ayude, pero si No sabes algo sobre dibujo con perspectiva o luz y sombra tal vez no sea lo que estés buscando, fuera de todo eso tiene muy buenos consejos.

I really like these books, but if you have his large book on how to sketch, you do not need the smaller specialty versions. Everything that is in this book, including photos and sketches, is in the large book. The smaller books are thinner and easier to lay open flat or handle to read. If you do not need a book on general drawing, then the smaller books are good. They have the same introduction to drawing information, then moving to specifics about the specialty topic such as landscape.

I enjoyed this book so much that I just bought everything Liron Yanconsky has published. He makes it so clear and so well explained that I feelI have learned a lot from this little book. Of course, I would like see if he makes more books on how to draw all kinds of fruit and vegetables with graphite pencil. Also, more landscape drawing with moving water and lots of clouds all of course for us beginners.Thank you Liron I think you are a very good teacher.In appreciation for your work.nuria

I really liked this book. It had good instruction. The biggest flaw is that the reference photos looked like they had been photocopied several times before being printed in the book. The images were too dark to make out what they were so I ended up just having to follow his drawing guide without learning much about the process -since most of the reference photo was too dark.

Excellent starter book for learning. Decent tutorials. Helped me with my landscapes in general. Highly recommended.

But I felt that the? Author\artist did such a good job in teaching us and encouraging us to get out and go for it ,ready to begin something new to us and doable.

Great step by step instructions get you started on sketching landscapes. Straight forward with good examples to follow and compare.

Great starting book, really like the simple step by step guide. Really helped me get started.If you are a novice looking to pick up a pencil and give landscape scetches a go, this is a great start.

Not of information was in his other books

Gives a good overview as well as some good hints as to how to draw specific types of landscapes. I bought it first as the preview said it included the basics book for free... very disappointed that this is not true, the site in the link no longer seems to offer the basics book. too bad 'cause I think you need to read it first. Very enthusiastic writer who seems very passionate about sketching.

Book has useful info & instructions but does not fit my style or expectations.
